Splash screen and L2 main windows

there are few bugs:
the splash screen goes to the background (if there is a window on the desktop) when the frost gauge pops up. after the game starts, when the splash screen is not on the front, l2 "window" becomes inactive. and if you minimize the game, the splash screen is still on the desktop.

 

you mean with game window full screen or windowed mode?

you tryed to start the process as administrator or giving it real time priority on the task manager? there is also an option in l2 named something like "decrease background performance" or something similar... deactivate it and let me know how it goes ^^

 

if i manually start the process, even as administrator, it exits immediately. if i set a realtime priority for anything that takes 100% cpu, you know what will happen... hard reset needed. decrease background performance - not helped.

 

it could be a problem with the video memory allocation.. brand and model of your vc? os version?

 

windows 8 x64, sapphire radeon hd 3650 512mb ddr2 agp. i have never had this problem, but never launched lineage 2 on windows 8. by inactive window i mean the thing that happens when you alt-tab - black screen for a moment, then desktop, but you can still activate the game from the taskbar.

 

windows 8 is supported partially. you can find supported windows versions here

 

it looks like the problem does not appear if i click the fading "loading" message.
