Can't Login after Maintenance Tuesday, 25th December

    unfortunately everyone that have windows 8 are unable to play atm. you can check it here also

    great guys, just great... ncwest server is working fine for me on windows 8 and always was. only innova server has this problem started today morning. what will you do with open xp/sp runes then? most o ppl uses win8 on their notebooks to play l2 by now. i cannot install ony other os. only option for me is to wait for fix and pray that you will add some more time for my runes that will expire.

    i think we will get our compensations for not being able to play for 1 week. at least i hope so, i don't want 7 days of pa or perhaps even more go into waste

    to finish all speculation about the pa - there is a topic about it. you will not loose any pa time because of this issue.

    amazes me, your lack of competence. on the u.s. server, i can normally log when i use win8. with you, there are always problems ;/

    second problem is that i still have santa girl's red stockings i cant log so i cant open them. what is your solution?

    any news when i will be able to play? still waiting... (windows 8 pro x64). my runes times expired yesterday :/

    announcements have been made and linked to you all before - https://forum.4game.com/showthread.php?t=14028 - this situation is in the hands of ncoft developers in korea and there is nothing innova can do but wait for the game developers to fix the issue so please be patient and refrain from spamming propaganda about innova services.

    i can understand your there is a problem? i can see that when i click the game and it dont work, i go to the forums and u have to dig rather deep to find out any information about it. i garantuee u that alot of people dont even bother comming here and trying to find out what is wrong but just play something else. it is u that should fight to win customers and not the other way around. we do not care that ur company is called innova and just wanna play lineage2.

    we dont pay programmers in korea, but we are your customers. so u might wanna consider and write a more professional post about this issue. calling our posts for propaganda is not very respectful and u can not just point your finger at the koreans. neither telling us to be patient is scoring points, we are not ur kids nagging for an icecream but paying customers that wanna play in there vacations and are utterly irritated that a patch was shooted live without any propper testing done to it.

    we can not help it that your company structure is like this, that u are totally dependent on others to host this game for us. i find it hard to believe, and very immature that u guys installed this patch on the server while u knew this would happen. i do not know if u are forced to do this, but it makes no sence at all in my eyes. and why not just rolled back to the old patch when u found out about it....

    so instead of pointing fingers, keep the blame at ur self. innova services is poor at best in this case, resolving very limited information and not solving the problem other then demanding us to be patient (not even a please), or taking responsibility for the problems caused by u! u installed this patch on your innanova server, in the middle of a vacation where population is bound to be high and new customers should be drawn to the game.


    so mayb this is just me but i find this way of communicating to your customers disturbing and really unproffesional. i am not blaming u for the downtime, it happens. but a little respect to us, and proffesional behaviour never hurts ! and some information about when u expect it to work might be nice.

    after maintenance i cant login

    hi, yesterday i re installed game and win 8 and i cant log to a server. when i start game there is nothing happen..... would you help me to solve this problem? thanks

    @choppie - you say you had to dig around to find information - there was an announcement made in the technical announcements section which would have been flagged as a new unread post for you, it was also linked more then once in this thread therefore i fail to see how you would need to "dig rather deep" for information. as for timeframes for a fix, that is down to the koreans, when they send it to us they send it, we have no control over the speed that they work it is out of our hands. we of course would love to be able to say times/days/hours for an expected fix but we can not therefore asking you for patience instead of rage posts as there is nothing you nor innova can do is a perfectly normal request.

    we are waiting 3 days and i see only post like "game cant run on windows8". that's all and admins speak about patience? i am paying for that game real money and i lost 3 days of my premium accout and 3 days of my rune of xp . second you implemented a update without checking it? if u knew that koreans have problem with that.. and really you are speaking about patience ? for what we are paying you? i think inova service have a programmers or ppl who know game mechanics and what they are doing?w/e uyou wont say anything atleast 5 days for sure...

    again, the wait you and we now have is down to the korean developers, innova are not making you wait for anything the developers are.
    and again, the announcement was there and was linked several times in this very thread, if you neglected to read it then that is not our fault or responsiblity, our responsiblity was to make the announcement which we have, the moderators even went a step further to provide you with additional links to that announcement, therefore we have done everything in our power to keep you updated on the situation.
    no one knew that the koreans have a problem with that so again please refrain from false propaganda.
    innova are the hosts of the game not the developers, we do not change/edit/fix anything to do with the game and game files, that is completely down to ncsoft korea.

    well thank u, finally some form of communication.

    and what i ment with it is that people dont like the forums, there should be a pop-up when u try to launch the game or a news announcement. poor people that use hours now trying to install with windows 8 only to get dissapointed by this issue.
    and probably never come back to u.

    and, i have full understanding for that u dont have anything to do with the problem directly, but i am pretty sure the patch was a few days after nc sofsts release and they have huge and huge amounts of posts about this. so all we are asking u is mayb to read the known issue's next time. before just blindly installing it to your servers, and causing the same problem.

    i am not raging and i do understand the problem. so go and pick up ur phone and flame at some koreans! :p
