Dual to Main class change before Lindvior

hi,

due to the upcoming changes in the class & hero system i'm pretty sure many people would welcome a well-fitting change in their ingame life by changing their dual class to their main class.

who so far didnt make a dual class and said: "oh why i didn't put it as my main class >.<? it's so much more fun to play!".

the new 34 classes and the resulting increase in the number of heroes are rather welcoming the option of giving people the change to play olympiad on their desired dualclass and also gain other benefits of having it as main class.
a total class change would be really hard to do and at some point unbalancing probably, but by letting people use the dual class they already leveled to 99 as their main class it wouldn't cause many problems imo.
the offer can be time limited to 1 week before lindvior (this will avoid additional work and lolchanges due to olympiad!). olympiad will be reset at the start of the update, so it is nearly the perfect time to put this service into reality, as olympiad and heroes won't be affected and no problems will be caused. the service can then be removed as soon as lindvior starts. then they will gain upon re-awakening their 3 class change pomanders to change within their own archetype.

so we would get such ridiculous classes like orc othell/aeore/feoh which makes big unbalance

 

no, there would be some restrictions.
for example, this wouldn't allow kamael wynns/daggers/healers.

so at least in this sense, it's very different. the main thing that is unbalanced about sod - if i can remember properly -is that kamael wynns with final form had mega imba p atk with summons... or what do you consider unbalanced ? those dual classes you can already play anywhere you want except olympiad. in lindvior, you'll already be able to pick which 'race' skills you want, so you can be elf with disparation, or dark elf with prevision.

 

yes you are right but othell rogue with orc race skills make huge difference as othells has big chance for double buff time :d

but if there would be restriction for such stuff i would reconsider to become healer on main :d

 

if you mean the racial skill, in lindvior you'll be able to pick it as any class. on pts as human cardinal i picked prevision (currently elfs only) and disparation (currently de only).
any dagger regardless of race will be able to pick that skill.

we have and will have hybrid classes when linvindor come live -i dont wana see more of them ...........so topic starter suggestion is bad and invalid.

 

the op makes valid points , the idea of running a promo just 1 week before lindvior hits would be the best idea to get this done.

 

well guys about the "unbalancing" part, you are aware we have these classes+race combinations alrdy right?
just main would be dual and dual main, which enables oly and nothin else.

 

there is nothing unbalanced about it , especially since everyone has the option to choose their 2 new "racial" skills in lindvior.

 

is there any update on this from the staff whether you guys will be doing this? i am personally not too big of a fan of this idea.

 

mako is right, there is a good idea. by example, i am main iss 99 and dual tyrr 99, and actually i am playing the tyrr as main, expending all the money on him, but.... i cant go olys with my tyrr... :/

 

i love that idea, but i hope that not only 99lvl duel-classes will be able become to main-class, becouse my duel-class only 97. /cry

 

so u lvl up main to 97-99 lvl and only after it realised that u prefer to play dual and exp it till end ??
i think it ur problem that u so slow ...
the only fair way to do it is full reverse ur character -changing ur dual to main whith changing skin and race stats -but it too hard and complicated
ather options will make a mess and unfair .

 

i sort of agree with this , in reality it's another version of stone of destiny. if sod is not going to be available then in my opinion neither should dual-> main class change.

logically speaking it would be silly to offer one without the other.

 

i was playing with heal and till 98 i didint have duelclass, but then i take feoh, i released that i like it more. now i dont have a lot of time to play, thats why feoh only 97
