with that in mind then innova should translate to medievil latin because back then 1 billion ppl was speaking that lang

 

i would rather play l2 in koreean with no chance of understanding anything then seeing l2 in romanian,with a highly probable dumb translation.

besides its not like someone is forcing you to play in any other language than en.

 

i can't speak for other countries because i wasn't playing german, french etc translations but i was playing on polish translations and i have to say that, if you want to keep the spirit of this game, i recommend you to choose english

 

easy solution > start translating game to spanish.
when you are done send your files to innova.

 

cause' most of the turkish are invading germany? hell knows, my mother language is spanish but i don't really want to see the game translated in another language, like i said it will affect item's name which will be hard to find with the function /findshop but of course there's always a broker, anyway learn english is the main language and stick to it, i had to learn it, so do the same. languages whose comes from 'latin' are harder to learn than english.

im spanish and i would say a big no to the translation, it would destroy the gameâ´s essence

 

vamos a ver, la cosa no serà­a traducir el juego literal, porque si es cierto que pierde su encanto, los nombres de las armas, armaduras, profesiones, skills, eso no habrà­a que tocarlo, "podrà­a perder ensencia", pero, los menus de los npcs, las descripciones de las skills, las quest... esas cosas serà­an mucho mà¡s àºtil en castellano... es obvio que decir arco draconiano es una castaà±a colega

itâ´s obvius the game translate (to spanish) canâ´t be literal, because "the game could lose it's essence" the name of the weapons, armors, skills... it's better in english, but, they can translate the npc menu, skills description, quest... this would be much easier to understand in spanish... arco draconiano it's bad, obviously

ps:turks have appeared! i have called them!!! it's a joke, i have no problem with them, just saying that if the game has been translated into turkish, also could be translated into spanish, nothing more.

 

you know how much is required to translate all the quest log? or whatever the npc's says and lets be honest no one reads what the npc needs to say they just click on the next step and follow their arrow above their head or just opens the map and follow directions, people aren't that dumb enough, back in c1 was hard to know the location of a mob, now it isn't, so translating the quest content it's pretty much ******ed.

 

i dread the day that all localizations are live and available to switch between on one servers.

final fantasy xi used a fun auto-translate sentence builder, maybe we will need something similar

i see some guys compalining about turkish client.reason is simple.this is an europan server and we turkish ppl are one of the biggest community on europan l2 servers.

 

spanish or castilian is an iberian romance language group. it is one of the six official languages ​​of the onu20 and, after mandarin chinese is the language most spoken in the world by the number of people who are native speakers.

 

believe me english client > spanish client.

 

the numbers are facts, spanish is one of the most spoken language around the world(500million? more?). as a turkish person i fully support the game being tranlated to turkish eventhough i would still play it in english version. turkey is a big market and many game producers have noticed this. we spend a lot of money on games.

the main reason for innova not translating this could be that spain is the only country that is native country that speaks spanish (portugeese is different right ?) the rest lives in south america(waka waka eyy). ncsoft sold the rights of europe to innova and maybe told them "you cannot make spanish servers, thats a big market!, thats another continent we will sell spanish license to chavez he will give us oil! ".

there should be every language!
