Lindvior Tyrrs

well, since most of the other sections have this, i figure we can have one as well.
please state what your tyrr type will be in lindvior and explain in few words why

 

can i borrow duals from defro and do some phew phew damage on pvp as duelist? : d

they are talking about using duelist spirit on dreadnoughts on rochand forums to be a real nasty combo makeable in the lindvior shift, cant make it afterwards thou.

personal opinion:
duelist or fist orc seems very nice with burst potential (triplesonic into last attack spam combos comes to mind..) but i dunno...
titan - pve king, getting guts and better berserker in meridian update... probably best alaround warrior in general
kamael - chickenwings with extra disarm... sounds good but how will "diminishing returns" be.. the rush is a stun and we stun alot as it is..
crafter = $$$$

i went for titan since i think warriors have enough stuns/disarm etc and scales best with power, but for power in oly i think duelist with duelist spirit+30 is going to be having nasty 15powered tripple sonic attacks... unthil they nerf enchanting old skills in meridian that is.

you are totally overreacting with duelist spirit. that kasyra was terrible on daily pvp (on oly not such bad but anyway still a lot of mistakes) doesnt mean tyrs are weak in general.

 

dreadnought or db if with duelist spirit even better!


gk will be the worst tyrr on lindvior update (no idea about future updates). duelist will be a close 2nd worst. :d

no problem, actually i've been keeping an eye on tyrr diversification but we can test when lindvior pts is here.

my pov:
duelist will have hp/p atk passives and 2 skills to use. the skills are nice
warlord new provoke stacks with power provoke so with pole aoes you'll do a nice dmg, + aoe stun with same power as one of duelist skills
db will have extra pvp dmg + aoe stun

my understanding is that as dn with pole you'll have 3 aoes with rly good power, + 2 aoe pdef debuffs, that will make you hit in aoe quite nicely. of course, i may be terribly wrong :d

worth to note that that update is still on korean pts, and subject to changes weekly.

it's not a bad idea to wait till the update goes live and final patch notes are known before deciding which tyrr to pick. the general idea was, they're going back to pre-god 'roles', and since tyrr classes were most different classes, they'll be most different in future updates.
you don't have a time frame for your first choice, so you can wait forever without changing to a subtype, the downside is you won't be able to do oly.

if you're very patient, you can also wait till mid-july, when l2s 'long term update' will be a little better known (so far we have a rumor that there will be 5th class change :d)

 

i tested with tyrr db/tank tk/sum elf/dagger : tyrr weakest in pvp.
- sonic star/ infinity strike: cast/reuse time too long. look with same power skill of dagger/ranger/feoh/tank, u will see . why ?
- power bomber : highest power skill, ncsoft add debuff to skill and make them cant give damge when be resisted...lol. skill useless in all time it not land. when they give back skill in pre-god with highest power and dont need land. as force of destruction - grand khavatari / demolition impact + armor crush - titan
- new skill same use-full just in mass war/pve.
- crit skill low. and not have skilll real power (except duelist).
maybe i don't good control tyr in pvp. but very easy to win another class when pick ranger/dagger/tank.
if chose tyr to pvp i think best is duelist, and pve = dreadnought.
waiting next big update. this class need more update to became awaken.
warrior: need skill real power, dont need land rate as dagger. but now ranger/dagger can give damge and high land rate than warrior. i miss pre-god

2. if a difference between a character's level and their skill level is more than 4 levels, the skill will be deleted or its level will be decreased.
a. if this skill has been enchanted, then an enchantment is deleted as well.

i wanted to go gk, but as i see that first fury adds only very little atk speed and battle roar has 10 min reuse, then it's obvious, that this update didn't make the tyrant rebirth. still duelist is the way best from tyrrs.
