so, the current situation is: we get the section back and have a forum rollback to the state of may 24th or we don't have the section back. your choice =)

 

well we must have some place to discuss / coment server dailes/events. general discussion is more about game at all than some politic/pvp activities so that's why core section is important at least in my opinion.

don't be egoists. what about the new posts, people submitted after 24-th? there were unanswered questions, new experiments suggestions, new welcomes, problems/resolvations posts, screenshots etc. there is no chance to have a new core section, where in future people to fill? my 2 cents, 10+ new threads > 1 old flame section, which actually will be filled back with new things really fast.
edit: i expect now to be pked in game by all :d but *hide* mode on :d

 

actually it is not a flame section, flame sections/threads are not permitted on the boards, what people lose is 18 months of server history which some users put alot of effort into, such as updating monthly hero lists etc and the entire server history lost in that section so i can understand fully why people want it back. yes a couple new users threads may be lost but those people have been welcomed and im sure they will not mind half as much losing one thread of theirs to say hello over 18 months of users threads which give them a fuller depth of the server history. our lovely screenshot entrants im sure will not mind re-posting their screenshots and i of course would make every effort to send each of them a private message letting them know of the situation and will be keeping a record of those images submitted so no big loss there as we have ways of reducing any minor damage such as this. the rest is made up mostly of the technical issues that we experienced yesterday and the evo road threads resulted from its downtime over the weekend and those issues have been resolved already so losing those threads is of no real consequence to anyone. the experiments requests already submitted can also be logged before any rollback so those also are in no danger of being "lost forever" hope that helps ease your mind a little

 

yes, looking at the section now, the official hero core list was last updated by sindeya @ 28.01.2013; core daily discussion - clans, pvp and stuff - spam; siege discussions (no inappropriate language) - spam :d ; official clan list [core] - last updated by johnnypumba @ 28.07.2012; where drama?! @sindi ofc! - should i even say what thread is that?and so on. is this the precious 18 months of history we have to save? i'm still for a new section.

 

the hero list was updated in the first post always and it was done last by me for the may hero's so your calculations are not correct just by looking at a cache image

and there will not be a new section - it is bring back the old section to merge in here as was originally planned or lose it forever, thats the choice. there is no "new section" to consider due to the recent "compaction" of the forum

 

core daily discussion had a few more pages than just the last post.

lost interest already :d listening dukes' stream of dota 2 and the music <3 i don't really mind whatever players decide. i'll still be around either way :d

said the guy with 3 posts in total. looks like you don't care, but there are people, who do. and server is not empty, if you were playing it may be you'll see it.

 

rollback, there are thousands of posts in the core section. who cares about 100 posts made in the last 4 days
