Very small font size in big resolution, HELP

hi, i wanted to play l2 in new monitor with native res 2560 xs 1440 and i get shock after start. i cannot see what is on the chat, and besides the fonts all icons are small. this is big mistake in designing for l2 designers. is any method to do the font readable in this game ?

 

in relations to text, look into increasing dpi for windows... other than that, i have no idea at all...

 

this dont help, i work with text and i have 150% font size in windows options, but this dont change font size in game.

please try to remove (or copy-paste to other location because there are information about your skill bar etc) option.ini from folder system (lineageii/system/option.ini). then launch game again.

razzly, i deleted this file, in the past i looked into them also. but this only reset my resolution to 1024.... and when i back to 2560x1440 the windows and text are to small. i have to put my nose 20cm close to monitor to see what is on the chat. playing is impossible.

well i thought you have some big disorder with font in-game but the answer is simple - in order to have 'bigger' font you need to lower resolution. its obvious the font will be smaller with high resolution.

if im correct it will be fixed in lindvior - you'll be able to change font size

 

where i can change font size in lindvior? i didnt find it on pts

 

razzly, the game should me made that way, the changing resolution dont chage the windows sieze that are on the top, and fonts. new games especially have this made perfect. look on my tera print http://wrzucacz.pl/file/8771370459454/tera_screenshot_20130605_210657.png, res is 2560x1440 the details are highest quality possible, and the fonts and skills and health etc are perfect made. i would like to see it on l2.

regarding your idea to lower res, this is good, but the game looks fatal on low resoliution or resolution diffrent than monitor's native resolution.

can anyone confirm on livindor is possible to bigger this icons or fonts ?

 

please do not compare to another game which has an inbuilt function to increase the font size from the chat options - that sort of comparison is not valid.

unfortunately the icon resolution is fixed at all time so theyre too big at 800x600 and too small at 2560x1440. the only compromise is to pick good enough resolution for you

 

thanks for this bad info. like i sad razzly, i have to use native res to get best view, on lowest res , when the font is ok, the characters and world looks fatal. you have "thanks click" from me, and i have to back to tera. for yr info, a lot of players in poland have this problem and a lot of them stop play, becasue comfortable reading the chat health/mana is impossible. bye bye.
