FAQ problems with the game

how about this: using procexp to find command line, then creating shortcut to lineageii.exe which is in frost folder, changing frost option from 7 to 1.

 

correct! it works 100% on every xp pc with the no video error i tried..

with that i could play for hours without problems..

 

it's working only for a moment, after 5-10min i get dc and have to repeat all process, so it's not a way to fix this problem.

noone said is a way to fix the problem. it is just a temporary solution until innova team repair all problems. :d

 

thats another problem than.. for me it works perfect, i could play 7 hours yesterday without any dc..

 

i know, but i only hope that innova will fix it before live starts.

 

do you get an error msg? cuz on ncw they have these problems too, so it's not innovas fault if thats the same case as on ncw

 

i can play on ncwest without any problems , so it's must be a innova fault.

edit: just tryed that command line and worked for me.... and even if there wont be anyother solution its ok... 30sec copyring of something to play

 

i dunno whats wrong i tried allmost everything but ea time i press play the c++ starts then goes to frost and once l2 process starts its somehow closed(tried also without my antivirus and firewall)

 

all technical issues are send to technical team , so we hope to have solution soon. mike87pl did you try with new account?

 

i got error from not enough memory....i have 8gb ram so its not my problem. i was abble to play on l2 us and not evan one time got error and played for more then 8h in a row. so maybe there is a problem with innova files.

 

+1, i have all time disconnects...not login/character creation but ingame lag,lag,lag and dc :/

 

ok tried now new acc too but after i accept the terms after pushin the play button nothing happens

 

did you try the repair button next to the play button? (is a small screw button).

i tried that a few times. i only have the no video problem on winxp and the memory leaks. same 8 gb of which the game can use 4 which should be enough for 3 clients, not 1.
i believe innova has a more recent build and that frost is messing up something, because if i start the game without it, it loads the splash screen just to crash later since it doesnt detect frost. it barfs immediatelly the no video error if launched normally.

p.s. i am installing on the third xp computer, will see if it is the same.

 

memory leak

if you have crashes like me, where the game fills up the virtual memory, it could help to increase your virtual memory. it wont solve the problem, but its something for now...
