tags: [stats] an archer’s pride – dexterity, the one we know as dex, can influence the verity and even regularity of critical attacks. the question is: does strength as well boost up all this? today we’ll tell. purpose: to find out how str affects yul archer's skill power. characters: character 1: 99 lvl yul sagittarius, equipped with an amaranthine thrower. character 2: 99 lvl aeore healer, equipped with a eternal set (robe). experiment: character 1 attacked character 2 with the following skills: pinpoint shot (lvl 8) multiple arrow (lvl 8) quick shot (lvl 8) after each attack archer's str was altered in the interval between 90 and 149 at a pitch of 1. in order to increase the accuracy of the test we used gm-command to cancel damage variation. the results of the test are in the table below: conclusion: as you can see str doesn't affect much yul archer's skill power and the degree to which it does is different for each skill.
yumi, let me see if i understand it well: by increasing str, u do less and less % increase in skill damage?. also, its posible to test critical damage increase with auto-attack? (i mean normal critical damage, not skill crit dmg)
normal critical will be x2 simple hit, no str or dex involved imho... except if increased by items/bufs/passives etc?
well this test is totally wrong, you counted skill dmg boost based on p.atack which can be taken from formula and bonus from p.atack can be easy counted from physical skill damage formula. better make test how str affect skill mastery triggering chance plz.
guys check othell test from last chronicle it is almost the same for yul/othell. all depend how kind of yul u want to make? skills or regulars? mastery or duble dmg olympiad or mass pvp.
also checking the increase in skill crit dmg, not normal skill dmg, and higher dimensions. archer can hit 30k, not 5k
i think that waste adena on dyes is the last thing i will do with my yul main... there is a lot of anothers ways to give him more dps, with half the cost of a +15 str/dex, or even a mix of both.
