brolen was finally returning to aden continent to wed the only daughter of gra, a prominent merchant in the town. completely exhausted by his journey yet happy beyond measure he held a burlap bag tightly in his hand.
gra was notoriously known as a wicked merchant for sending many young and spirited lads to certain death in the hope to marry ada, the fairest of all human females ever walking the earth. she had mesmerizing green eyes, blonde hair and the warmest smile that left you no chance if you ever laid your eyes on her. her delicate features and a gentle disposition made even the most beautiful elven maidens turn green with envy and gave way to rumors that ada was a witch. in stark contrast gra had no consideration for his daughter’s deepest affections for brolen and dreamed of marrying her to the wealthiest man in the town of aden and even in the entire magical land. to ward brolen off for good, gra instructed him to get a lucky bag from angel cat or be put to imminent death. the trick was that the lucky bag could be obtained only if a contender would solve the cat’s riddle.

little did gra know that brolen had a heart of gold and the wisdom of a ninety-year old man. as he approached the gatekeeper he was met by angel cat who asked his riddle for the umpteenth time.
- what can burn worse that hot iron, give joy more than gold and fame and bestow immortality?
brolen seemed to have little difficulty in solving this one. he calmly answered.
- a word.
the angel cat appreciatively nodded and handed him the lucky bag. brolen successfully finished his journey and returned to aden. on seeing him, gra face turned ashen and he could not but accept his defeat and the bag. however, no matter how hard he tried to appropriate its contents he failed! he was unaware that the lucky bag could not be exchanged or sold and was forced to keep his promise and give his permission to the wedding. brolen made use of the gift and since then his energy and wisdom was unwavering.
get as many kills of your level in aden’s locations as you can and collect the letter drops to assemble the words. set out on the letter quest now and get generous rewards along the way!

summertime is almost over and some of us will have to come back to school very soon! to make sure you are ready for it, we will have a small spelling practice with lots of fun! you will have a chance to hunt down some letters that could be compiled into words.

the event will last from august, 20th till september, 10th. the event items drop period ends on september, 3rd.

to participate in this event, all you have to do is hunt! every monster that is of the same level as you are will drop letter pouches. inside those letter pouches you will find letters which can be used to collect one of those words: lineageⅱ, together, ncsoft.

note that the pouches drop rate is higher between 18:00 and 02:00 (server time) than during other hours. pouches will not drop from a monster that is 9 or more levels lower (dark blue) than the character that kills it.

for every word you turn in, you are 100% guaranteed to get a letter collector’s gift item. this item gives great buffs and also transforms your armor and weapon into b-grade versions accordingly, to enjoy the nostalgia of lineage ii's great legacy.

why no drop event items in mos ?

i have a question. among the to be deleted items, there is no letter collector’s gift item. however on the item it says this:



so after the event period end, it will be deleted or not?

lvl79 farm in sv, quite low rate for items droping(pouch t\n\l)

pazak what you mean ? agathion - xp bottle is not a reward of the event. why it will get deleted? we gave 5,40 euro and it will get deleted? i dont think so. maybe a typo.

what is the point of collector gift 1 hour buffs be deleted ??
and same goes for buff scrolls that are rewards for event

so if i exchanged about 100 letters and got nothing but this 1 hour fail buff and i will lost it ?

i have a right to be poor in game innova, but dont take everything from me that i farm by my own hand so hard

i don't think any of the rewarded items should be deleted either. what else is the point of opening the letters if the reward is going to be deleted anyways...
