2nd and 3rd class: Luxury ?

i've stumbled upon 1 serious issue.

got my main to 85+ and a subclass to 76.

now i've picked my 2nd subclass and realized i have nothing to wear!

i'm short on 'cash', and even if i had enough i wouldn't have bought c/b/a/s gear.

why aren't there common armors in shops like there are shadow weapons?

anyone share a little genius?

 

meh...that is just literally the way things are.

you can get by on c grade armor provided your not trying to aoe like crazy.

b grade shadow weapons are fine aswell.

or you can go and farm some "cash" with your main or 1st sub.
also 2nd sub can wait. exp your main and 1st sub first. with 76 you are able to get noblesse.

 

make the quests for steel door coins for weapons and just use c grade armor.

why not? its not like it will be ruined by using it, so after you are done with it you can just resell it. i just bought a grade armor for shared use on my current and future chars (only missing gloves), and i have only been playing on this server for 4 days.

 

the point of me saying i wouldn't spend money on lower gear is because i need all i can get for main.

i have done all the quests for steel door coins i believe and i have like 80 left. i didn't realize at the beginning that it's smart to safe keep them for later use on subclasses. i thought they had to give enough.

i mean come on.. the quests give r grade gear and stops giving lower grade stuff (armor) at least for subclasses? that's stupid!

a and s grade aren't all that cheap you know?

 

if your main is a fighter, make one mage sub and you can make a few extra steel door coin quests.

i know, as i said in my post i just bought a grade. that means i paid it and know how much it costs. also, i did not mean to give the advice to buy a set for both a grade *and* s grade. just like you will have no problems getting through b grade wearing the freebie c armor, you also will have no problems getting through s grade wearing a grade armor.

but saying "i have no armor because i don't want to buy armor, this is a serious issue" is a bit lame. sorry.

and also, while the armor is not "all that cheap" it would still not be "all that cheap" when you are done with it and want to resell it. it would not have lost any value after you used it. but well, seeing that you say you do not have the money to even buy a grade, i guess there is nothing to discuss.

 

so, the bottom line is: 2nd and 3rd subclasses are a luxury.

 

no not a luxury as there needed for subclass certificates

 

it doesn't change the fact that you need to spend a good deal of money to raise them.

 

got a clan? our clan as sets that people use for subs and mails them back to clan leader when done
negates the cost .
but for new guys it could be hard w/o clan pm mail dutchman if need .

 

if you buy all grade armors etc and you're too lazy to pick up adenas ... then yes it costs money.

if you buy c grade armor, get weapon from steel door coins and you xp from 40 > 52 in cruma tower ... you farm like 4-5kk adena while doing this.

find a clan with people who got lvl 85 char and you can receive powerxp from 76, so you don't even have to think about getting s grade for subs
