Tournament: AMC season 4

i am not sure i understood it correctly :d

basically all non ranked teams are in a group (of 4 ?) and we fight. best two teams go either top rank a or rank d (second phase). right ?

the group composition is usually announced shortly before the matches actually starting. once they are up, there is official announcement. now to explain those groups not that complicated :d
a non rank group is made by 4 teams. they fight each other and receive points. the team with highest score (first place in their group) is continuing directly to rank d. the team with second highest score (second place in their group) are fighting in a mini playoff in order to qualify for rank d.
same situation for rank a. the highest score go to a, second place fight for their slot. third place go to rank c (i ll post a link of the scheme the amc in using and may be it will help you even more) :d

once the groups are made, you will be able to see them by pressing the button (non-rank, d-rank, a-rank etc. together with the points achieved and the schedule of the fights). hope i explained good

it only looks complex (to be fair before the tournament last season started i was still trying to figure out all in that scheme). once you're in, it is actually easy :d

 

hm, i'm also little bit confused, laby. our team is also non ranked so i suppose we will fight against your party next day.

 

there are and others non ranked teams, not only yours :d taking an example from last season, i doubt you ll meet each other on early stages of the tournament. they are doing the schedule really carefully like 1 team/server in a group, but we will see when the team groups are up.

yes i know i'm just wondering when we will play, because i have to say it to my party, tell them time and prolly tell them again :d this is first tournament for us so i don't want miss anything.

 

well, your team is the shadowbolts (right?), you are in group 25, since it is usually 4 groups/day, you should play in 7-th tournament day... on my calculation this is october 23-rd.

 

i just can't but wonder what it would be if the team was sixmesokandapro

haha, yeah, this is duke. i told him several times, he doesn't spell it good, and in the end, he managed to do so :d funny thing is in bulgarian, "mishok" is a mouse, but in russian, it is a bear, since they are russians, for them the team name is 6 pros and a bear :d

 

i can tell that мешок = meshok = bag so the team name could be like 6pros and a bag

 

the original work is мешка for a bag, мешок is the cute name (have no idea how this is in english) :d or a form of the original word. the mishok or mishka with i is another thing :d duke was spelling it with i, eventhough it was written with e :d but that is our duke i love his voice

ok. i can't agrue with specialists. my russian sux anyway :d i was asked last night what mesok means. told them is just nickname, anyone has more info ab it? may be mesok himself :d
