New Problem 4game site PLAY VS Install Button

game is installed.

when i go to https://eu.4game.com/lineage2/play/ it still shows the button "install"

tried over 3 times to reinstall. (different partitions of hdd)

also i tried the 4.49 mb update game at the bottom of the page. nothing works.

it worked fine a couple of months ago when i played the game.

also no progress on the site is shown during installation.

help. thank you !

please try to reinstal game as well as 4game app to another partition (i don't know if you already tried that). if its possible try to move your files to another hdd.

ill try to reach more information about this issue,

i tried that. not working.

it worked in the past just fine (6 months ago) without problems.

thank you. waiting patiently for a solution.
this problem is actually blocking new players to join the game.

please try an other webbrowser. did you update your system or webbrowser in recent past? any autoupdate?

if u have 64 bits operating system but the browser u are using to launch the game is 32 bits version u will see install button all the time. try to change to a browser like firefox, ie or chrome. also u didn't mentioned if u had choose the path to the game files from launcher (browser). if not press on the little wrench u have above install button, press on "destination folder" button and go to the folder where u have game on hdd. dont browse to "system" folder or w/e. select directly the main folder. hope this helps u.

 

of course. i have latest firefox browser.
windows xp sp3 32 bit

when i press install it gives me the file : lineage2eu_setup-en.exe
i installed the game but then the install button still appears on your page (it also doesn't show game update progress on the site during the installation).

 

reinstalled windows. the problem comes from you not me.

 

google chrome works.
you have problem with firefox support.

i can't use chrome just to play this game.

 

update:

on google chrome it only works if you reinstall the 4game launcher every single time.
otherwise your launcher is not showing the game as installed.

this seems to be the major problem.

 

please inform the support, write a ticket.

do you have a clean winxp installed or something with already installed elements and programs?

 

clean xp sp3 32 bit. clean browsers.

 

mby u should consider upgrading windoz to 7 or 8... like the rest of the world, cause is xp is so... 2004 (no updates, no support, no nothing)

 

i would not say like this, winxp is still a pretty good operating system, especially if you have no more than 3gb of memory... and l2 runs pretty nice on xp, so, bad suggestion in fact )

p.s. on april 14, 2009, windows xp and its family of operating systems reached the end of their mainstream support period and entered the extended support phase... during the extended support phase, microsoft continues to provide security updates every month for windows xp... extended support will end on april 8, 2014...
so there is still a support of xp

 

it seems old safari 5.17 is the only browser that starts the game every single time without crash or the need to reinstall the launcher.

lineage 2 is a old game that runs great on old operating systems.

you don't need windows update for the system to work properly. windows support is only for critical bugs.
