Botting- NO!!!

the staff actually cares, but you shouldnt post the botters names here. write a ticket or a pm to a gm. write every name you find suspicious, better one guy ripped to his underwear then one bot not reported because i'm lazy. these ppl not only destroy the market, they destroy a game. when this continues, ppl wont be able to play on a fair way and either give up, dont care, or buy money/stuff from "ebay". dont like any of these options.
in the last 2 weeks i reported over 30 names and it never took longer than 2 days to get a positive answer from a gm.

it takes you only 5 minutes, but invest it, you like the game you are playing? then it's worth it.

while the massive armies of rmt dwarfbots have disappeared, there are still people using bots.
today i found an entry in groupsearch window saying "bots in pavel ruins" so i went to check it out. found 2 archers which i observed for a bit and pretty quickly determined they both were botted (the usual "approaching mob but running into an obstacle" signs etc.). so i killed them both with marks (of course they did not stop attacking mobs while under attack, and the second archer was not the least interested that his collegue 20 meters further was being killed....). only after they were dead the bot owner noticed and started typing.

so i went to find the other bots and talked with the guy who made the groupsearch entry, and he showed me where the rest was. a little later, one of the archer bots returned with a reasonably high level yul in tow. obviously that yul didnt come to xp, and he was kind of "hiding" behind a rock (i couldn't help but laugh at him at that point) i flagged on one of the bots and was quickly killed by the yul as expected. then i called for a little reinforcement.

the name of the botowner and the bots and a short summary has been reported by me via ticket as usual.

ps: a while later: the owner stood near the gk in schuttgart for about one hour. then i logged back on another char and started killing the bots again. after i killed three, the owner suddenly felt the need to take a little trip to the pavel ruins again -what a coincidence! well, as i play with more than one pc i could see him heading off to take revenge, so i had plenty time to log off before he got to me

back already? ah well, but it was gone for a little while back to the "mass reporting" routine for me then i guess.

 

yeah they do get banned, the wynn bot army in dv seems gone too. anyways 2 weeks without much support... i hope it wont be 2 weeks of non stop bot farming for them...

 

someone else must have reported those or they found them without any reports, i havent been to dv

 

well varka full with bots again... i wonder what actually happens to bots? do you track where the adena/items went etc?

it starts to look like botting will be the way to earn adenas around here... really sad. they are making mass iss, mass wynn, mass spoilers ...

lol ... so clearly they are players who bot. i don't think adena sellers would care to troll around.

anyways reported another list of varka bots... hopefully support can ban them since i didnt get any response since december 31st

 

gms are on vacation period they said it before, thats why no responce since 31st of december

 

they said slower respond and that they wouldn't stop working all at once, which would mean instead of the usual 1-2 days respond that a respond in 4-5 days should be possible. yet there was no respond at all

also ive read few pages of that thread, so many botlovers/buyers/pieceofshts here, half of em should be warned for destructive behaviour and actual propaganda "why botting is unpunishable" what is not ever a case. there are methods for tracking boted adena, it wouldnt be first time when ppl get perma after getting "100 mil for dc helm" what is obcious case especialy when adena is boted(adena sellers aint like being scammed ig- oh wait). its not so hard to combine 2 conditions.

and for all who wana say: no rly, becouse.....blbablabla, chicken have wings so can fly. its like saying ur mama coold win miss universe just cos she has 2 boobs. sincerly u should find better way to use ur skills than writing scripts for this lolgame bots and then defending ur "job" with such nonsence


gms should put more effort for tracking whole stuff instead of baning meaningless chars, they are paid better than casual police detective so they should act like so.

 

i got my report answered on 10.01.14, so i guess someone had some free time to check my reported botters.
and again, im pretty sure, "profi" botters (rmts) who do it for profit, dont go and buy premium accounts. they use 10, 20, 50 different pcs and let their party start. prolly with 10 other games or other server at the same time running = maximum profit with minimum effort. i wouldnt be surprised if someone would track down the routes of the botted adena and some big names would disappear from the server...

 

we had the same bots @ ncwest , so i'm thinking it's the same russian operation behind it. they mostly use the dwarves using events tho , on ncwest they're using dark elf female summoners with goat head staff till awakening. everything is automated with these guys , from account creation, doing the quest, to change the classes ... heck they even ask for mentor in gludio on the ncwest servers. once you figure out their patterns should be pretty easy to make an automated ban for it which will stop them for 1 or 2days... like mess around with the adventurer's guide name or npc dialogue and stuff like that.
not sure how serious you're about this innova gm's but atleast you are doing something. i will pm you pazaak with some critical important information that will help you stop this. hope you have someone on the team who can read russian.

report them and send a video to the support team. they will investigate it and ban them.

 

no offense, its not a players job to hunt bots, don't be lazy
