Complaints about moderators

hello fellow users, moderators and each and everyone who is willing to become one!

due to some messages and concerns we announce that each moderator will have to go through a 2 week-trial during which he/she can prove themselves the best/the worst ( up to them).

yet this section will be used to complain about any moderator's action that you found violating the moderator's rules or forum rules. please provide screen shots,etc. so we can see the violation.

please understand that any current moderator whose actions are inapropriate and are reported will be dismissed.

users are welcome to report things they liked about this or that moderator as well. :d

not while ago, i liked when apophis instead of deleting thread's offtopic posts, transfered those misleading posts to another new-made thread to continue discussion.

 

vivinia = exelent choise he/she doing great job here , even when she/he was not moderator yet ...

 

i hate the idea of giving moderation rights to anyone who's willing to take them, especially that the forum isn't even a week old and we can't possibly know what to expect from each other. f.e. i've seen half of those "moderators" trolling around(no names ofc) in this forum, but *bam* - the next day they are moderators? cmon, moderators should be trusted members of the community not just the first ones to write you a msg/essay that/why they want the "position". seriously, make a poll or something before deciding things like these, from my pv the current "moderator" situation is extremely unprofessional from innovas side.

 

apophis and vivinia are good choices imo.

kalls english is way to weak though, its hard to comprehend his messages and i believe its in the companys interest to have people with good knowledge of the language to look professional and not like some lineage 2 private server.
splicho have excellent language but hes also a clanleader and imo its not fitting for a clanleader to be a moderator as they take part of server and game politics.

 

or the hate ppl already have towards splicho.
he'll be controlled by his emotion and start flaming at one point aswell

so, they are closing threads, deleting posts and doing other ********, **** that mods that all i can say + some of them are just posting useless posts to get bigger e-penis

 

excellent point about the language. i don't know if splich0 being a cl is a problem or not, for all i know other moderators may be cls as well, i just don't know them... but returning to splich0 - i've seen him get a bit.. "personal" in some threads, and thats not a complementary trait for a moderator. that's what i mean - you cant just pick ppl to moderate forum so carelessly, or you'll have even bigger chaos than in a forum without moderators.

there will soon be region sections in forums, where moderators should be 2 languaged, meaby his english skills arent perfect but will help rest ppl from his region when needed.

first post in this thread by apophis, encouragement by him of that kind of treatment/reply is not what i want a moderator to do.

 

why let them moderate international sections then?

i think that vivinia is really the only one that is currently really worthy of moderators postion. others are just too... random.

 

yeah i wasn't, and that is about an old joke from rpg private server but i won't get into it atm.

 

i will be more into improving forum, also hope some design additions on forum when i get more time to work on it. for now you should expect collection of l2 smileys.
also if administration is up for opening a flame forum section, that would be the part of forum where flames can be tolerate otherwise i will react same as any other moderator would and that is edit/delete/close/move-post/topic depending on what is needed.

only time can tell if someone is qualified to be a moderator. a poll would not work, because people always vote for the person they know or the person with the biggest clan behind him.
i totally agree with the fact that person moderating the forum should have an good understanding of the english language. i do wish all the moderators the best of luck and i hope they do their up most best, to be an asset to the innova community.
