Complaints about moderators

dear superstar,
we are thrilled that you shared your personal opinion about my avatar and signature with the community. to your information those avatars and signatures were added to our profile before we were given our moderator rights. morever, i won't remove em until i am asked from the administration. once again, i will point out that we are also players so we can use our avatars and signs as we like, until asked otherwise. if it coves half your screen then you have a small screen.

gekido i am sorry if you think i am trolling. i am defending my right to keep my personally prefered avatar and signature unless i am asked otherwise from the administration , which didnt happen. if and when it happens i will remove it. until then i reserve the right to defend them and not being flammed for. then again if anyone has problems with that he can take it to admins suggesting them not to allow us using em.

noone actually did ask me, one person flammed me over as he /she claimed to be pinkish, eye-hurting, 800x600 taking half his screen, signature of mine :d

u call my avatar sex shop? i wont reply to this since i am sure will result my banning from forums. i am sorry to doubt it though, in my eyes is a pinkish girly avatar, nothing sexual there. and once again if and when i am asked to remove these from my profile from administration will be done i assure you. and if you dont care which my personal opinion is, then you shouldnt care what my personally prefered avatar is. my exaggerated self confidence is something you simply assume. once again, why you turn this into a personnal conflict, when you should make valid complains with violations of rules. you are flamming me over my avatar, so i am not sure who the troll is. keep it on topic and post some violations with proofs, not useless flame /spam please.

i said that your avatar look like sex shop signboard. blinking flashing and screaming: "look here. i am attention *****"

and i have the right to defend myself from eye blindness, head aches and epilepsy attacks caused by your flashy pictures.

do not allow forum avatars that are gif files. although i am not epileptic, i find blinking/flashing avatars neurologically disturbing, and would strongly favor requiring avatars to be static.
blinking avatars are not the only ones that forum users have found offensive or disturbing. remove user signature pictures and block users from posting pictures. there are plenty of other forums where users can show off their creativity and sense of humor. the same goes to naive trial moderators.

please keep the forum clean and concise.

so, dear superstar and rest members,
let me point out the following:

half complain that we are being too formal using the guideline with dear given to us by the admins. rest complain we are informal and take our job too seriously.
i've read also complains towards me for spelling mistakes. you can excuse some spelling mistakes on humans who have been typing answers to help our community for the past 12 hours.
there has been some unreasonable flame towards myself, for the usage of personalised avatar, signatures. as far as this is concerned:

- all staff members use personalised avatars. moderators and admins included. so i find the flame towards mine discriminating since it has no racist, sexual content.
- some moderators use bigger signature pictures than mine so again as above its discriminating flamming.
- we are also players of this server as the rest of you and we reserve the right to use personallised avatars / signatures except told otherwise by admins.
- since this is forum of the official european server moderators and admins should reply formally, is not some random private server.
- again, since this is forum of the official european server please respect moderators and don't talk informal / rude towards us. after all we spend our free time working for the best of our community and we don't have any personnal gain, that above all deserves some respect.
- and again, since this is forum of the official european server i am editing all my posts, threads to meet the guidelines given to us by admins about formality. anyone oppossing to that can take it up with admins.
- @ to superstar, i won't go on argue with you, reported your insulting post. (reported so as someone else will deside if it deserves punishing or not, and cause if i were punishing myself it would seem as abuse of my punishing authoriy).
- to end the avatar / signature topic, i will propose myself to the admins some "neutral" avatars for usage by moderators and admins. decission after this, is left to them.

that's all on this topic.

 

all moderators are good, why swear :d

 

i am a member of few forums and at each of it moderators are kinda invisible. they just moderate forums not spam there. they do not try to give answers instead of authorized persons (innova's team here). they do not argue with users. they just do "cleaning" work and do not feel like overpowered creatures.
some of you dear mods, simply overreact.
etherial - don't take it to personaly cause any design of avatar or signature is a matter of taste, but many people simply do not like pink ones especially if they blink. so i believe you could change it a bit to stop flame against you.
other mods - when you decided to be moderators you stopped to be normal forum users - and please don't forget about it.
