l2.exe error + game crash

+ since yesterday night, when i left 61 lvl pailaka, game crashed ( with l2 crash report ) twice on 2 different chars, everytime in giran ( when porting in, once from pailaka, once from gatekeeper ). i dont have the l2 crash report screened, but i will screen it and add it here when it happens again. strange thing is, the report says only 4089 ram, but i have 8, maybe not important
i tried game restoring, it did nothing, i have had the game installed for 2 days only now so it shouldnt be broken
i5 3570k@4.3ghz, sapphire hd radeon 7950 vapor-x, 8gb ram 1600, crucial m4 128gb, win 8.1 ( just incase you eeded to know my hardware )

 

don't mind this error, all of us have the same when exiting the game)) to avoid it, you could log out through the char select screen

it would help us a lot if you screen it, cause i cannot guess what exactly do you have ))

it's not a strange thing, it's how game see modern computers, as far as i remember it cannot see more then 4gb of ram, in addition, lineage cannot understand that you have win8 or higher, it says no os )

okay, try to set compatibility to l2.exe file to windows vista... this crash might occur cause lineage does not really understand what your os really is)

 

and just in case, check your client with this tool http://www.check4game.com/lineage2.en.html maybe there are some corrupted animation files

 

nope, it doesnt even allow me to get in the game, once i change compatibility to vista ( vista service pack1,2 ), win 7, win 8, instant crash after selecting a char and joining server

 

tried check4game tool too, no errors, i restored the game after it, today i crashed after 4 secs run in shrine of loyalty same error, looks like crashes happen more often for me for some reason, i guess it is a compensation for me not crashing at bf4 at all :d

hmm... i am completely confused about how to solve your crashes, even if compatibility did not help... now the only thing i could advice to you is write a ticket to support https://support.4game.com/ ... and hope for their help..

 

they dont happen that often, but they happen.. if it was happening every 30mins or so then i would start crying, but as it is now, i can live with that

 

can we know your system specs?

weird video resources? are you using laptop with dual graphic cards?

try to update drivers, maybe its real problem

 

system specs mentioned in the 1st post, i am using latest amd beta drivers ( 9.5 or w/e they r called ), windows is fully updated. the game runs fine, loadings take 1-2s( ssd is working :d ) , it doesnt lag, it doesnt stutter ( in towns it does, nothing unusual), only those crashes from time to time. i also play bf4 and have no probs there

 

new error in my collection - happend second time during the same action - port from oren gk to oel mahum south gate

eidt: i will fully describe how this error happend to me and what happend after i finished 50/900 q in oel mahum, used soe to village and appeared in oren, by /loc i was at 80,411/56,546/-1,552 ( near the town of oren ), i wanted to get q reward so i went to gk and clicked to port to oel mahum south gate, but got crit error after clicking, when i logged back, i thought i would be either at oren gk or in oel mahum but not, i was back at the same location i appeared after soeing from oelmahum weird

 

the same issue appears when you try to teleport from klemis to gludio via gk. it will port you back to the place you were like 2-3 min ago not nearby tp. this bug is known and can be avoided only by using soe: ch, soe: castle or any other place designated scroll.

i have the same problem. i tried a lot of things, updated drivers, uninstalled and installed again, formated my pc..but i couldn't fix it :/

 

3 errors in 10 minutes today, 2 same, already mentioned above, right after loging in and clicking on talisman npc in rune, so i loged in for the 3rd time and instantly bsoed to ch instead of clicking on talisman npc, fine, no error, i took bufs, ported to magmeld via fairy agathion, entered epic kimerian, killed 1 centaur and boom, new crit error...

try to find stable release.

also you run on windows 8.1 which has been many times reported as being unstable for lineage 2. if it's possible please go back to windows 8.0.
