comparing c5 with god isnt appropriate, theres a new shader model in god as well as way more detailed zones... you are in ti so the zone might have a lot more geometry and details + ti is full of people in detailed armors and such on pts, i dont think you will have a problem with this on launch honestly but if you doubt what i say feel free to leave i dont think server will die if you do. : )

 

its a 7 year old game... what are you running this game on? a pc held together with toilet paper?
anyway, arent you able to close the launcher after starting the game? keep track of your cpu use/ram and see where the problem is?

possible drives outdated?
and what aa setting do you have? that thing can bring even the biggest pc's to they're knees

 

first this is hellbound known as (dex bound). second is the difference betweend 2 same games... innova as i heard was created for european ppl bcs they had lags on us servs, hated adena sellers and bots. nvm... many ppl have crapy computers and if they check the differnce they will rethink it. btw i know about the chronicle detail differences, but im speaking about a big difference between 2 servers.

y i get it but i loged to korean pts, and had more. not 20-30 but also not 5 + freeze. nvm ill try to update all the drivers, make some overclocking like +10-15% +optional windows reinstal and disc cleaning.

 

dude, you are talking about talking island city. we was fighting 7 vs 7 on swampland. i had about 5-10 fps, this is horrible. i understand mass pvp or something, but its just 7vs7.

 

better fps here than on ncwest. but still its early client build, live will be on newest.

 

okay nvm what i said, you got a pc made out of ****brix bro. time to upgrade your system, i got 60+ only ti i go down to maybe 20-30 if theres a lot of pvp.

i'm playing battlefield 3 on ultra details ~30-40 fps it's dx11. cpu like 98% usage and dont remember how much gpu.
about lineage 2, i ran from start spawn to out of city talking island. cpu ~25% usage and gpu up to 30% (tested on west and innova)
that's all on alt+p and 1360x768 16bit.

 

lol i hope you realize your cpu is quad core and 25% means 100% of a core... l2 uses pretty much 1 core. : >
you are running l2 on a normal hdd, running it on a ssd is a great improvement just fyi...

i see same attitude like in nc servers some years ago and even recently. ppl were concentrated on making others leave/ban, etc. well, they succeeded.
while op was inapropriate in his post, that is what happens a lot with impatient ppl, it doesnt mean they dont belong here, it is a game after all. simply ingoring the bad part and answering the real concerns would be more constructive.
i always maintained that the community>game mechanics, nc failed because they ended up with a collection of cheaters and bullies when the game evolved in a direction those didnt like, so everything fell appart pretty soon.
i hope here there will be real leaders, ppl that care for the game and dont want to see it dead again, if someone is over the line, is hard to reply in a constructive manner, but if we do, the discussion will go to the core of things, yeah, there are problems and there are more expected, it will be much worse on live servers, if we get on our respective nerves now, we will go through the roof in live.
the game is at a crossroad. we started a new community here, there is a chance to be a nice one where most ppl except the cheaters and uneducated will feel home. the others will leave themselves, they will feel home someplace else that should remained unnamed, but if we say left and right we dont need you, the community will degrade over time, not because those really unneeded leave, but because soon ppl with minority ideas will also feel unwelcomed and there will always be some that like to pve only, some that like to pk only, some that play solo only, some that "cry" a lot, that like "drama", etc... you dont like their ways ? avoid them, but in general, if there will be no drama, no "qq", no minority ideas, the game will be poorer because the community will be poorer, the pk ppl wont have whom to pk, the big clans wont have small clans to make wars with, the pve ppl wont have a good market where to sell their stuff, the pvp-ers wont have time to farm everything, so on and so forth.
the mmo is best when the community is as diverse as possible, let everyone express themselves and insist in the same ways that failed before in the hope this time will be different, who cares, lets have a good game and a good atmosphere in a competitive environment.
in general, in a level payfield, if you fail, you did something wrong or others did something better, in cheater's paradise, it is usually that someone else did something wrong.

now back on topic, i have seen many new pcs that dont run the game well. there are many causes here, the fact that the engine is old being one of them, but i must admit that the way the game is offered at launch is not the simplest and the best imo, better give something similar to what ppl are used to.

my guess is that most of those things will be resolved by the time of live launch honestly.
