Is it worth to start playing L2 now?

hello. is it worth to start if i'm newbie? if yes, then which server is the most populated? is there decent amount of players even on low lv grounds?

 

if you never played this game when there is no point in starting as it is already dead and beside that it is kinda for nostalgic players which started playing this game ages ago as now there is low popluation playing and server like core only has 1000 player average.

 

what means worth starting? if u wana try or just play this game so u fkin play!!!... omfg... but if you would ask if you have chance to become hero or some powerman, then don't start as u woun't be one(maybe in 1year+++)!
ofc except if you donate and stuff...

and remember this game not for kids, u will die, u will cry and u will probably quit out of rage and others will just laugh from u... but cmone it's just a game...not!

i see groups for kamaloka and low raids every day so yes there are low lvl people that play

 

start. lots of low lv ppl. lots of population. lots of chances of becoming a hero and lots of n00b botters who came from ncwest, failed hard in the wallet war with the americans and the asians, so they came here, got their @ss kicked and their bots banned, and now talk **** on forums

yes it's worth. there are a lot of new players ingame and it's very easy to lvl up and find parties to xp with friends and random players instead of grinding-xping alone. use alt+shift+p ingame to open party matching and find raid bosses - close to your lvl, this is the easiest and fastest way to lvl up.
we have only 1 server named core so it won't be hard to login and we also have enough players online.

remember that this is the european server which means more players are online from 16:00/17:00 till 22:00/23:00. of course there are players online in other hours too, but those are the "rush hours".

 

not from level 85+ xd you know....
fresh start with no level+items is .... not worth [ofc if you like never ending farm... you can start from 0 ]

server is 1,5 y ++++
population is 1k+

 

on topic:
there are no official stats for online so whatever you read here is pure imagination.
there are ppl low lvl.
on next update (end of january) it will be easier to lvl up (itemwise).

 

you dont need party till 85, just get buff from newbie guide manager and do quests, if i remember correctly, after 40 u go aligator island, outlaw forest, pailaka, forsaken plains, pailaka forest of dead, pailaka, wall of argos, ketra/varka, 7signs q, field of whisper/silence. if you nolife it (12hrs a day ), u will be 85 in 2-3 days, if you play normaly ( 3-5hrs a day ), u will be 85 in 6-7days. get mentor, u ll get full r grade equipment + some shots after u finish awakening.
i started as mage like 18days ago, i will hit 90lvl tommorow, no pa , nothing, not a single euro invested yet, playing 3-7hrs a day)

 

server is 1 here -population fairly enough. but if its new game for you i dont think you will be intrested. most here are veterans who knows every corner,quest, item and skill in the game. for completely new player it would be hard to do fresh start and besides why to choose such old game. better start with some new mmorpg .

 

on innova? yes ,its worth.

 

it's worth to start if you have friends who can give gear for you. now what. my friend in 1 month made 97 wynn. and he is still with immortal and apo weap. and just because there is no drops. if you want get something you must spent $$$ for l2store and resell items for adena. otherwise idk how to make money for new peoples.

 

gearing alone is hard - basically w/o cp only $$ will help you to gear up.

 

farming event items + mos with just a summoner. zaken + freya with 3+ zaken and he can make easily money.

just need time to farm.

 

i said it is hard - not impossible. either you spend $$ or lots of time here.

 

it's worth it, if you can enjoy it.. it helps if you have friends who will join u

l2 is the most well-known game in the entire planet, so , there are ppl out there who might not have played before but they probably have heard (or read) of l2 , or they might knew it and didn't wanna "give it a shot" and they wanna "go for it" now!

 

probably because of best open pvp world system. second most important reason is drama / friends
