Same thing 2 days now.

hello all.i need to make this thread so people that know can help me solve it out. 2 days now i get a 2-3 seconds freeze and then disconnected from the server. even in non-crowded areas like toi,fields of massacre etc. is this a server problem or not? if not, be kind, and tell me what i can do to make my game smooth.

it is server problem and it seems they have no intentions of fixing it.

most of people use lagg-reduction programs in order to play in this server.

 

doesnt help if u have ping to server 20-30ms.. its server side, cant be user side if havent packet lost or bad ping.

 

weird, i never ever get disconects and i mean never. crowded areas give some lag now and then but nothing serious. also my internet isnt that great, just 4mbps.

 

i get the dc after the 5 seconds freeze. and is it normal that on the same time i get 5sec lags while my gf who plays on the pc next to me is fine and w/o lag?but i mean same time. one pc frozen,one pc playing normally.

 

then i guess the problem is with your pc, neither the server or the internet connection. try cleaning it up a bit, updating drivers or if you dont have anything to lose format it and make it fabric reset. also it is normal to get a freeze every time you teleport, unless you have a 1000 euro pc.

 

what kind of lag is it? is it a performance issue or connection issue?

performance issue: your screen updates very slow, you feel like in slow-motion, when you turn camera it's even worse, fps is very low but you can still control your character

connection issue: you are unable to control character for several seconds from time to time, other characters stops for this amount of time and suddenly jumps on the screen

if its first issue: check for viruses and check pc for a good health (registry, enough place, not too much processes active etc)

second: try some solutions from here , you can also try leatrix latency fix

 

everyone has something, i dont get dcs, but i get critical errors every day :d not so often, but it is annoying everytime

 

try to send ticket. when i had problem with logging i sent ticket, and they fixed it.
i cannot promise they will fix ur problems, but they can at least say what is wrong, why u got crashes etc.

 

it would be nice to receive screenshot of this error (i presume it's always the same).

i'm so terrible clairvoyant and my magic ball cannot tell me what kind of error it is ;/

i posted them in different topics here in tech section, i was told by ur moderator mate the reason is windows 8.1 probably

 

yep, i'm on 8.1 too and getting multiple crits a day.

 

on saturday i had same problem 4 times got frozen on different situations and then eventually got disconnected.same happened to my bf 2 times.maybe it's cause of server.

 

i'm on win 8.1, playing normally for now.just letting you guys know.
