Elevating priority of process "l2.exe*32"

okay, so far from my observation i have found these:

1.clr_optimization_v2.0.50727_32 service. sometimes causes up to 10% cpu usage - disabled right away.
2.teamspeak client unfortunately caused cpu consumption sometimes up to 25%. (issue solved - disabled echo reduction/cancellation/background noise removal - cpu usage of ts doesn't reach more than 6% now at peaks)
3.nvidia stereoscopic 3d driver service - cpu usage up to 10% - disabled right away.
4.audiodg.exe process - up to 12% cpu usage. killing it removes all sound so it is not an option. i disabled all playback effects and turned off ingame sound. cpu usage dropped to 6% max.
though i have increased overall performance, i'm still experiencing fps drops, but not so huge now (from 50-60 to ~20). i will still look into it and try find actual cause of fps drops.

another thing from my observations:
when my cpu usage goes above 60% the games becomes unplayable. imo it shouldn't be like this.

 

dear lisaa can you pls show “process diagnostic” from http://www.check4game.com/lineage2.en.html copy/paste... maybe there is something i know for sure that causes such fps drops

razer... do you have only nostromo device or mouse by razer too? or any kind of other smart mouse?

mscorswv.exe is a compiler what will work at background of your pc eating the whole cpu
it appear when you install .net framework

you have also some useless software there , for example advanced system care , what is running when you turn on your pc
uninstall it if you dont use that software

 

well...u allways tell us to check this...do that...tweak smth...but let me tell u smth to check. go pvp (large scale) before 7 gmt+2 and go after 8 gmt+2. and u will see the real fps drop...some1 check ....maybe it's only me that thinks that the server is low...ah sry a joke

 

i have disabled all .net services that seemed to be unnecessary. about asc - it has very usefull process/service/disk and network usage monitor which i am using to track down fps drops source. (thx razzly)

 

how can u see with asc how much resurces takes every process? i mean i see the ram usage, but not cpu...

 

right click on asc in the tray (near clock) -> settings -> performance/quality monitor

 

i have that option enabled, but it show only total % of cpu disk and ram using, not by each process.

 

click 2 times on a cpu/hdd/ram graph and tadaaam

okay, my cpu seems to be acting on it's own preferance. sometimes on crowded areas with huge activity (siege zone, mass pvps) i have like 35%(means ~15-20fps and ~50fps in ch and clearer areas) usage from lineage. sometimes it jumps up to 55-65%(dops down to 5-10 fps) without nothing changed ingame(even in not crowded areas). usually i have 3-5% usage while running game in background, but sometimes it load up to 40% while in background. it's just usage of the game itself, not sum of all processes runing on my system.

and to be honest, i didn't have such fps drops before december 3rd update.

 

sorry i did not answer... from your processes i cannot see anything harmful, except that i cannot see any antivirus also, maybe you have a simple virus?) just in case check your system with http://www.freedrweb.com/cureit/ it's a small app not a antivir itself...
and the rest... i dunno... why i asked about mouse, currently there are some issues with mouses that use 1000hz port, but they give constant fps drop when you move mouse (and it is mostly in epeisodion, so we will come to it later)...
also, rzklservice.exe : rzklservice,razer game booster to be honest it is useless thing and sometimes frost hates it a lot and gives sudden lags)

 

about virus: it is practilly impossible for me to have it, since i have fresh os install ofter full ssd format (though i will scan my pc anyway). i do not know if my mouse could cause the drops (you can check it, because i did not find any info about it. sunplus technology cm1092 optical mouse). i used game booster to turn off unnecessary services and aplications and to be able to see current fps. removing it did not help at all.


edit: none infected files found(just as i thought) though 35 files are marked with raised error condition.

edit2: i started to notice that fps drops a bit when cpu/gpu temperature gets higher. i will monitor this for a while and i will tell the results.

 

my problems are not with ram and cpu but with hdd
today i started my pc from clean shutdown last night and without even touching the game or the website i had a lot of
svchost.exe and dllhost.exe using my hdd at max with description of file of c:\games\lineage2eu\diferent file for each instance.
i have microsoft security esentials and advanced system care 7.1 pro. both did not show me any virus/malware etc at full scan.

 

asc is not supposed to give you exact scan. it scans for general and most often viruses/malwares. in order to perform full scan you need a real antyvirus.

are you sure its svchost.exe and not swchost or svvchost? try to clean your hdd with ccleaner, then full check with antyvirus (get good one in trial version - check - uninstall/leave it for example) and then asc. you can monitor whats happening with, mentioned above, quality/performance monitor.
