New player in L2, got some questions

ok so i used to play on ncwest for a couple of days and i got to 63 but then it got really grindy and no quests to do at all, and i had noone to play with because most of the people that were on that server were botting or they had really bad attitudes.

so my questions;
is it a grind here aswell after 65+?
any recommendations for a new player? (lvling,adena etc.


also, i need an active mentor, so add me ingame: yourlastwish
and i need some lads to play with! im currently lv17, so around my level would be nice!

 

well the areas are mostly the same here as it is in ncw, however you will actually find mobs to kill here rather then bots everywhere. i do suggest to take premium account, it will feel so much faster with it.

find some pve clan and ask them for academy. you will find people to talk to, ask questions etc. to find a mentor, it's fastest to make a party channel saying you look for one.

as for 65+, try wall of argos. you will get new quests there at 70 so you can stay there for a while. once you did all quests you could go grind in varka silenos barracks or ketra orc outpost.

and something important, l2 is about grinding and returns to that after the fail of god update

well after 65+ yeah its is grindy but you can also do hellman raidboss every 4 hours and get some xp from there. you can also get premium account and make your xp double. then you got the option of camping raid bosses something that i really hate.
for me 65-70 is wall of argos 70+ is daily quests from adventurer's guide, quest with many items in woa again and killng angels deep inside it as well.

 

if u think 65+ is grinding, then you better dont get 97+ :d

l2 is a lot about pve'ing, so prepare for that

 

40-49 aligator island + forest of outlaw, 2 kekropus letters + daily q, 49-59 sea of spores, kekropus letter, 59-65 forsaken plains - kekropus letter +daily q, u must kill spiders, bears and those flying balls, not gargoyles and orcs, 65-71 forest of dead ( if u r mage ) or swamp of screams ( if u r fighter ), kekropus letter + 50/50+900 q items quest, if u collect 900 item, reward is 150kk xp = 2 lvls, if ur 69/70 lvl, 70-76 woa, kekropus letter + 50/50+900 items + hellman every 4hours, if u have goot pt with raps, u can get up to 50% in 20s, 76-81 ketra/varka ( ketra mages, varka fighters ) - kekropus + 50/50+900, 81-851 kekropus + oel mahum daily q( 550kk xp ), lizardmen plains ( 536kk xp ), 2 same daily in field of silence/whispers ( dont know how much xp they give, 49% gives 1 when u r 84 lvl )
or 76-85 power level from someone, people want ±10kk per hour of power lvl

 

pvp 97 vs 99 it's same as pvp 76 vs 85 before god. huge dmg penalty..


and for xp.. if you don't like hit mobs go to any x5000 priv pserver. kill few elpies, become 99 and pwn there..

40 > 52 ct2 2nd room in left,
52 > 62 fields of massacre
62 > 68 fotd + hellman
68 > 76 woa. on 72+ you can go isle of prayer, in tunnel to chromatic highlands
76 > 85 plvl in bloody swampland.

85 > 90 kartia/tere/harnak 3rd floor (till 87) than fairies
1>90 1 week


90 > 95 kartia/spezion/fortuna/fairies/nornils with party.
90 > 95 1 week
95 > 97 2 weeks. just because i was lazy and skip craproads party invites

 

cruma tower is fine too, but u cant do the kekropus letter q there for yellow coins ( u buy a-s grade equip for them )
52-62 - fields of massacre ****s balls, sea of spores much better, kekropus letter q takes u deeper in sos and u get 190k-220k xp from mobs, with pa+vita, on the begining u get 170k+-
59-65- forsaken plains as i explained, with pa+rune u get more than 1% per mob

 

forget about gear..
40 > 61 in c grade plated leather set in my case cuz i xp archer. and yes. those quest for coins just to take bow..
ah forget one thing. for those coisn buy only jewels/weap. try get normal armor. because those armors from coins without any bonus.. just pdef/textures
