i was there and i think that is better if i don't say anything. was the most ******ed way how they took it if they did.

 

this is why new generation of players s**ks
i mean you play open world pvp game and you want to punish players for actually playing the game correctly ?
you wanna see all the content game has to offer join one of the top clans,get into cp fight other players,obtain better gear.
times when you could fully equip your char trough instances are long gone sorry to say that.
wow is actually good alternative since it allows you to see all what game has to offer by playing 1h max a day and not joining any clan(srs reply)

 

this generation also forces mmo designers to put out one **** mmo after another... with all the fails l2 has i am happy that it still exists..

 

lolz actually wanted to say that stuff like this forces devs to copy same game model over and over in hopes of taking some of those sweet subs from wow. you read my mind on this one.

 

well after all everyone want to bite some money from this game genre, wich is sad cause long term mmorpg could be strongly addictive

 

ehh i have feeling that mmo's are slowly dying mainly because of crappy community(result of kids having pc from young age and having no social skills whatsoever) and simply because most of the mmo's dont bring nothing new on the table.
you cant compare l2 community from c2 till gf to what it is now.same goes for wow and other mmo's.+ moba's are taking over lulz

 

i thought most kidos staying moba games acording to my friends playing lol. and imho there is not big change. ******s were everytime just ppl expect other things they were doing in past.

 

ehh i'm an old mmo's player (since ultima) and what i see for community is same thing all over the mmo. one of problems is for sure what are u talking about but maybe too the old players who are a bit bitter and never satisfate by news.

u said they don't bring nothing new on the table but when they do u never happy ( in general ).

like all mmo, new players are antisocial and just want all faster and old players are bitter and want sensations who never retrieve....

let me just say being a lol player for around 5 years take that game with a pinch of salt, like any other game but with this one now if you put a great effort in i feel that it will reward you.

me and my friends have started a clan and we've had so many nice personalities join us, this patch atm is a breathe of fresh air, regardless of the lack of money making options (fishing is good but is going down fast).

you can't really though have a crack at this game for immature players, anyone who has really played lol would agree with me because that moba train is circling around the gates of spotted teenager hell.

the only thing i could have a go at lineage for is the crafting/spoiling, it is in dire need of change.

i love ultima, still waiting for elements of this game to be introduced to other modern mmo's.

teenager's pockets shape the way games are made.

 

i miss c4 when everything was open world combat. i miss ketra and varka wars for nobless quest and i miss how hard it was do finish it. they killed every mmo when they introduced instances.

l.e. there are mmos that have pvp or pve only servers lol. why play online then?

maybe people like to play along with each other in a more friendly and less competitive enviornment?

wtf? pvp is competitive or pve is competitive?

 

competition exists on pve servers, but there is much less agressive sort of competition than pvp servers, where you can lock down ur enemies. also the coomunity is generally much more ******ed on pvp servers than pve.

still not following?

 

just little comparison as i'm playing aion also, on most patches there are some new istances that not only require good gear but good understanding of the game and brainz to do it. so in the end till they get nerfed, only the good players are able to do them - thats competitive pve, not this crapy brainless instances here :| come on even epic octavis doesnt qualify as most lower aion instances that used to be before they all got nerfed after being abandoned from the constant farm

also i used to play much pvp and i could say i was good there, nowadays whenever i log i mostly pve and i like it, also on pvp terms i find i totally sux ion aion atm, but dont care since i'm still top pve pewpewer and it feels kinda refreshing(dunno how to describe it )

so basicly what i'm trying to say is instances in lineage bring nothing that good(since they are easy in most part but way too boring) , also come on even bots farming parna instance now , how that is called a good thing
