didn't report , didn't read your post. well then how about you structure your first post normally, explaining everything in details, not like a caveman, who just discovered farts.

 

fellows! here's a list of bothunting tips for you.

1. sending videos and screens proved to be less effective than it seemed so from now on please report nicknames only.
the best bot-reporting ticket or message would look like this “hi! i think %list of names% are botting. please check.”
2. we consider all bot reports we get.
3. we have a list of reported for botting characters, so we forget nothing and no one.
4. for each report we make investigation. it includes a series of online and offline tests and it takes time. after we have solid proof that certain character is botting, we ban him.
5. all characters caught on botting for the first time are banned for 30 days.

 

i never got answer to my question cm onyx, do the adena/items are being removed after caughting a bot? and does all account connected to the bot are being cleaned as well?

im new player here, and i have a few simple suggestions for you to consider.
why do you expect players to do your job? is it that hard to check few bot spots like mos, gf, gog, pod, soh?
i understand that tracing adena is hardthing to do and i do not xpect you to do that. just keep an eye on bot spots and server should be ok. most of the bots belong probably to rmt, since there are bilions of adena on mxc. it would also be nice to make some simple provocation to get rid of rmts, since banning players who bought some adena is pretty dumb. we need to get rid of the bots, not players.

if we ban him for 30 days. if char is permanently banned, he won't be able to anyhow use what he have farmed.

that is one of our methods of bothunting.

yes, there must be a misunderstanding no, he does not have the adena he botted.

 

practically u remove the adena from banned char , but what about the adena that the nonplayer farmed and moved to main/other chars?
it take like weeks or even months to bann some bot wich means u block only 1% of *farmed* adenas . gm's support scamms , they make some super osom event where ppl are so vulnerable to scam and they dont bann bots . good job i can say :-d

p.s also u delete the post on forums with supersonic speed ! amazed how fast u react to critism and post that dont fulfill the server p2w policy :>

and about adena from bots , evry day at morning they are seling 1 shot in auction by 100m.

are we asking fellows to do our job? no. are fellows sending bot reports? yes. i think everyone expects his report to be helpful, and i am not forcing you to do anything, i'm just explaining how things are working when it comes to bothunting and why it is now better to report certain names since someone volounteers to send us a bot report. nothing more than that

we trace bots' adena, though it is not easy.

unfortunately we can't punish anyone if people are giving adena willingly. but we have placed a repeated warning to the game chat about scammers. if you can think of a good way to fight scammers besides this, you are always welcome to share it with us in any convinient for you way.

also i would like to remind you and everyone else that it is part of my job to accept your criticism and all other sorts of feedback, both positive and negative

 

about first part , its community who is asking you to do ur job . we are helping and even giving name's , fact's and stuff like that and still no progress .

about the second part ,its not that im kind of a sherlock or smth like that , but wont be much smarter if those *event* eggs would be normally traded via game functions , wich means avoiding the gift and scamm drama ?

 

now whit this event we have new model scamers - l2 store scammers

sadly this situation is pathetic, and ours "gm's" are on the same way

 

for bots permanent ban! is very simple...

1 month what is this even for a first timer... after 1 month they will be back in bussines. and you start the work again... waste time

 

its sure, they have list of unbanned chars to eventually ban them again

 

so basically none of the gm's go out to famous bot spots and do judgements on the spot? since that's still the most efficient and fast way to get rid of bots. besides then botters will know gm is really hunting them with a banhammer and some might reconsider whether its worth to bot or not.

about tracking adena... get koreans to disable dropping adena on the ground by players and i guess it would make things easier. there is no point of dropping adena on the ground anymore with the existing adena distribution system, besides people can still mail or trade... which then is a lot easier to track because the logs can save this as a transaction between player1 and player2?

 

for sure perma ban for botters is the way, with perma ban of the original char of the owner.
