New player with a few questions

hello!

first off, i would like to introduce myself. my name is brody and i have been playing lineage 2 on and off since it was in beta with nc west. i usually play for numerous months and then take a hiatus, but always find myself coming back. i find myself leaving the game because of botters/scripters/etc. i started playing on core on saturday and have been really enjoying everything i have been reading on the forums, along with what i have seen in-game. it really looks like core is the exact lineage 2 experience i have been looking for. right now, i have a level 80 moonlight sentinel in the works. =)

i had a few questions that hopefully can be easily answered. probably commonly known things but i couldn't find a definitive answer anywhere:

1.) does your vitality bar get reset each week? how exactly does that work? i had used a few vit items over the weekend, and had about 25% of a bar left before maintenance, but it was not reset. i was just assuming it would of been reset with maintenance.

2.) sub-class / cross-class is still confusing to me. i understand that you can do a quest at level 85 to unlock the sub-class and if i'm not mistaken, you can awaken one of them for a maximum potential of level 99/99/80/80, right?

3.) still in regards to the sub-class / cross-class topic: is there any benefit of what you choose as your sub-classes? i am making a light elf yul archer at the moment, so would there be specific classes that i would want as my sub-class? or is this just what i want to play? i think i am seeing other people say that you get special abilities on your main, depending on what you choose as sub-class... is this true? if so, does anyone have any recommendations for my le yul? (maybe a link to where i could find out what each sub gives?)

does your dual class and/or other subclasses get the bonuses from your subclass skills like your main class does?

thanks for clearing that up! i was kinda wondering if that was the case or not since that would make your dual class never have the same potential as if it were a main class. =p
