everybody who donâ´t want the classic server, stop crying and talking about your ******ed god lindvior erthia, whatever ****.
we donâ´t spam your forums of the "donation projects" so donâ´t talk stupid things in this topic.
we only want to know informations nothing else. if you will fail on pay2play, donâ´t join then
everybody knows that the instance **** destroyed l2, even l2store destroyed a lot in my opinion (im from teon/naia).
so i think:
-pay2play and a staff which care about real player and bann bots always, can make a good l2classic server here soon.

btw: the current server has to get drained
because that "new lineage" ****s and every nab can play it for free.
gogogo make 3instances a day, donate 10€ in the l2store and be happy to get r99 soon
try opening some donated items and get a valakas and sell it.

and l2 classic is nothing more than l2 god with non-existent god content and nerfed drop rates compared to real prelude c1 .

the first instances were the kamaloka thingies. that was when the game was already aiming for poop, yet they werent even close to game changing/breaking.

 

hey, most players here never played true lineage 2 before, so they cant judge classic anyway. @relic, listen classic server is not a god modification. i know that for two reasons. 1). i played l2 in 2004/05/06/08... quit while god was announced... 2). i am playing now lineage 2 classic on official korean server. so i hope that you can now imagine that some ppl know some things better than you... and like azzero said, " donâ´t talk stupid things in this topic",... nonsenses about old good true lineage. i dont care your god+ lineage, you can play as long as you enjoy it.

@ harbingerofwar we don't insult you, so please, don't insult us. the thing is a game should evolve as life evolves. making it less hardcore, doesn't make it less competitive. can you answer me why lineage 2 went ftp? because it was so successful and there was so much money that the game is making, that the developers decide to ruin that business plan and move to less successful one? oh, w8!

1st. i know what god+ addons brought to the game and what has been removed. that is why i have left l2.
2nd. f2p and cash shops are so successful just because younger generations demands it! i know how most (not 100%) of young mmo community looks like. generally even single player games are much easy these days - you know that is true.
money. money, money. that is why we have lv 80 characters in wow shop. tons of xp boost content in p2w mmos ect. ect. i dont really care about god+ community, i have posted here because i saw too many aggresive post from god+ towards old lineage 2 players so that is why i want to they feel the same flame wave on theirselves.
as someone posted here... this is topic about l2 classic so if someone comes here to do some flame and rage...just because he/she is just a troll...and have no idea what old l2 was... we have a problem.

...and if someone missed what happened to the modern mmo gaming...

i actually agree with harbingerofwar at some point. i highly doubt half of those people who scream for l2 classic really know what it means. i doubt they know how hard game actually was. people nowadays are so upset from leveling chars till 99, but excuse me, it's so damn fast compared to old chronicles. i doubt those people will stay for long time and really play.

and yes, f2p kinda killed game, specially on nc with all those stuff in shop, like destruction scrolls etc.

and about wow and char boost, i do not mind, coz i do not have time to lvl 90 char so i was glad i just could boost my druid on kazzak after i change server

 

okej, i have to address this again.

there's no "true" lineage 2, do not try to impose your own views on other people... god has it's own good and bad points just like older versions and classic does. nothing is perfect, don't come ranting on forums claiming that classic is going to be this perfect thing to save this community when many of us prefer the current state of this game(those that aren't really blinded by nostalgia ).

do you dislike instances? great, so do i. are they more accessible for everyone? you bet your *** on it.
do you dislike the new classes? great, so do many others. are they more viable than ever before? you bet your *** on it.(2)
do you dislike the new grades? great, so do i. but every mmorpg progresses vertically.

you can come up with whichever complaints you want but the older versions of this game don't have enough content to keep people interested without constant updates/changes. part of the experience of playing the current version is looking foward to changes, not holding yourself in the past. i don't really think some of you remember how boring the older versions were and quite honestly they have no chance of surviving with the current community.

so go claim your "true" lineage 2 by playing on private servers with the herpy derpy infinity spear and more stupid things like cheap shot(sooooo useful riiiiiight?). we don't miss it and classic ain't it.

(i feel the need to explain that classic is shaping up as its own game, it's not going to play out like c1 like many of you are claiming)

 

the old generation of l2 community tends to highly romanticize the classic version of the game. like it used to be all so much better.
what they tend to forget is at that time the game was also full of bugs. the ingame economy was based on* r / l money transactions for adena's, items and accounts. the materials for the craft market was fed for more than 90% by automated characters from chinese ip addresses. highly wanted items like epics baium and aq where on lockdown by people who had a r/l money trade business from it. access to the best xp places where restricted for the casual players, and only accessable for those who where involded to the topclans who had their auto xp trains running in those places.
i've been playing l2 for over 9 years, i've seen the best and worst of this game. nc/inova has to fix a lot in order to prefent the same pooop to happen all over again.

besides this, l2 classic would still be great.

anyway please take off those nostalgia glasses ,yes game is pretty damn bad right now thats why i dont play it anymore and i only lurk forums just out of boredom but ffs stop trying to make that classic version sound better than it actually is
we get it you liked farming ketra badges with stupid drop rates and 1/10 chance for ic bp rec or spoiling sops in ant nest for many hours just so you could spend even more hours dlvling that dorf but the thing is most of us are too old for that.
game itself was/is crappy compared to most mmo's and only good thing about l2 was clan wars and forum drama ,yes there i said it after 10 years of playing this game.community was always the strongest point of this game but atm im not seeing it anymore.

 

the eu community of this game is so much more full of losers than before even haha

i`m an old l2 player and i returned because of the l2 classic!
i want to enroll in the russian classic server and have some simple questions. (and later join the eu one if it started):
1-the client supports using latin keyboard? or only cyrillic? at least the chat does?

the most important factor in any mmo is the people...

everybody likes the older chronicles due to the great amount of adventures and good experiences we all had playing c1 / c4 / gf (just to mention some) along with our friends and guilds in a time when l2 gathered many players from all around the world.

nowadays l2 simply is not the most shining star in the sky. the old generation of players practically left completely, and the new generation is playing more modern games.

i'm not playing this game anymore and i don't know if i want to return to it. i don't know, i did everything i had to when it was my time and now i just don't feel like living again the l2 dream. anyways i heard about this l2 classic thing and a nostalgic window opened in a very distant and cherished part of my heart.
