NCSOFT will open a classic server

/bothered to register just to add my 2pence, i know a few people myself included who no longer play due to the massive changes some updates brought and would love to see an official classic server, pservers are just wank. many games have promised so much over the years but none has compared to what l2 used to be. i'd happily pay and play long term for sure.

 

i agree with everything you've said and since mid 2014 this thread has been at the top of the general section everyday i have looked at it. doesn't that say something if a thread like this is constantly getting attention on the official forums of the most current update of the game in europe? with that being said there are a lot of people who have interest in playing on an l2 classic server in europe and i am one of them. prior to the goddess of destruction patch which totally destroyed how the game appealed to the older players it was an extremely fun game to log into every day and play with friends. private servers aren't the same and will never be cause they die out after a few months (maybe a year if they are lucky). if an official organization like innova or ncwest is behind an official re-release of the game it will attract a lot of the old players back and if its a pay to play motto it would definitely appeal to me as appose to being just another private server with no future ahead of it. bring us l2 classic!!!!

 

i got me some pre-god hot pockets in my freezer still that are asking to be consumed, lets get this thing going.

 

of course lineage 2 classic would be top of the market in the west right now since there are no decent pvp mmos. but of course too, you need a good communication campaign to do the things right, that i'm sure innova can't do. ncsoft should put the balls over the table and do it. rightful, legit, pay to play, monthly subscription, bot hunting, permabans, come on.

made an account just to post that there are a lot more people not participating but actually hoping for innova staff to put its **** together and be more clear about what kind of "business research" is being done.

if you guys need help on this i can offer my services of course.

 

took me more than a year to hit 75 with a sub in rise of darkness back in the day.

 

when i see this "3 months max lvl / server too ez" thing...i cant even begin to express how much of these priv server 100x noobs will drop such server in less than a week... at least let the actual hardcore express realistic thoughts/opinions.

 

i'd only state that with scientific data on the matter and lineage 2 isn't important enough for that lol

i'll argue a lot of people just want a server they know they can invest themselves into rather than the endless "classic" versions server hoping every month or so.

 

+no easy mode rates, donations, biased gms, sick of the grand opening/grand closing infinite cycle.

we are seriously discussing if this classic will have players?
im the only one who stopped play l2 and got bored after lot of promising games? no one knew to make what l2 did before, and i know lot of players that think like me, that miss hardcore mmo gamming. even with less time than before, im pretty sure it will have an strong comunity, and all of it even with the **** bot problem it always had.
