NCSOFT will open a classic server

yes i understand, i also want response. i don't want to start playing anywhere else till then... because i know it will be a big time investment.
they really taking their time... and it seemed that they are good at communicating with players, i was wrong apparently.

 

you all know things were never "on time" i still think there is chances of 4game.eu having an l2classic server and my optimism goes maximum until september, then even an russian l2classic new server would come up as option.

so... we all are still waiting for an answer from innova staff...
now we are closed to march and still nothing for eu ppl...
if you donâ´t care about your eu community, just tell us pls and close the topics..
itâ´s a waste of time for everyone here to wait more and more without geting any updates or infoâ´s...

 

seriously, all this hype about classic sounds to me like "i have great memories about communist era, please bring it back!" either people forgot how painful grind on those chronicles was, or they played on some x<put a number> server, or you lot are just plain and simply - crazy.

 

when you take a look at the private servers around, you can easily see there are at least 10 times more people on these freeshards than on official servers. why ? because these are independant servers, more flexible and reactive than what ncsoft (and now innova for eu/ru) has ever been in their monopolistic position. it's no wonder they are able to attract so many people, that are interested in the game, in what it offers, but not in the way ncsoft and contractor innova delivers it.

instead of delaying and hiding any piece of information you got, information which has close to no real relevance/value, i suggest innova to tackle the problem at its root and actually man up. there are still dozens of thousands of people playing the game (not on official servers, obviously). if you don't think you can attract a sizeable portion of this cake, then innova is just bound to stale and eventually fall off as the l2 population declines (age + competition).

about legislative, fiscal and support matters that a eu release can add in complexity, i'm sure you can find a solution. you have the experience of post-god for legal matters. hell you even got your eu hq based in luxembourg already running. offering an english only support is more than enough.

just bleh.

 

then play ur independant, more flexible server?that seems to be the advice you are giving to all who support classic. either way classic or not doesnt change what you just said you believe in.

 

then can i ask for what reason people like u come to official server forum to talk? go to your private server and play there , 10x times more people .. in what server u have 10-15k playing :d

 

difference about private and official is simple, wipe wipe wipe, since it brings more profit to wipe server and reopen it. while official cant afford that.

 

i play on freeshards right now,too. but i'm realy bored of wipes and that noob community.
rush on server. play 4 weeks no life. take hero. own 50 ppl with 1 cp. quit server. new server open.
same story again... and donate ofc... that's how it work there.
that's why we wait for classic... because er are sick of it.
and that's the opinion of 90% of freeshard ppl...
so why you are so quiet about l2classic? there are very good ru freeshards and gran kain is still full.
give the same chance for eu community!

 

i played on 3 different servers on retail when it was handled by ncwest. i played on retail when innova opened, on core.
but like most others i also played on private servers from time to time.

i simply gave an advice to innova that doesn't want to step up and open this server. also, i just said that 90% of the l2 population is not playing on retail, not that there were servers with 15k people online. however it's very easy to find servers with more than 6k people online at a given time, a bit more than the 300 live guys on core (not counting shops and boxed chars). it's people with your reading comprehension that really make managing a video game community a nightmare.

mediocrity is all that is left in this community that once was great (l2blah anyone ?).

lol yes advice another full of tears about how u miss l2c , go play l2c in ru if u miss that much ,but instead same old story about "i play in ncwest ,then core and then private servers" 90% of the l2 population? who are u? president of l2 players? people who want to badly l2 classic goes to l2c ru and enjoys the game instead of making posts like this ...
p.s if im video game nightmare , then you're what i call this generation of gamers whiners who can't deal with a fact that nothing goes theyre way so they whine about all ... so please spare me

p.s.s i agree with this liona why you're quiet about l2c eu info , give a chance to eu community .. run some test server or smth , at least for a month or two to see how many people handle with montly payment w/o l2 store just to see how many people gonna try or how long they last

 

there are many americans that are waiting to play l2 classic also... but we will play on a european server! please contain your groans, americans are nice guys! (sometimes)

i come from a small community of americans who would absolutely play on a european server. sign that petition imo.

yeah, we're still waiting innova. it's been over 2 months since your first deadline.

 

the fact which was stated before(that some private servers are high in population),saws that eu players-and not only-are eager to play older versions of l2.

and if you consider the general interest in many forums,i think that innova should open an l2c server or at least make a negative announcement cause many people are visiting this forum every day just for l2c.

 

they should ,but i doubt they care about anything customers have to say .. otherwise it would be open already or at least some info more ,cause only what they told is "stay tuned" or smth like that

 

drop the topic already. innova eu will not invest in l2c project and you are just spamming without a reason here.
i've got no idea why forum moderators haven't locked it already. it makes greater sense for them than reading daily all those pending questions, and unable to answer a single one. for sure i would feel depressed, useless and confused as a used napkin, if i was in their shoes.
