NCSOFT will open a classic server

i'll take my time, not going to shut myself into a cp and maining prophet(i don't dual box either)

i don't think i'll hit cap before at least 6 months.

i hope if they launch it, they will hunt the bots at least like innova on russian servers (many accounts were banned, but still some people use them )

i don't think that anyone is going stay on server, where admins do nothing about it.

 

its sure that they will ban bots, but if you are using your brain more than normal ( not clever ) gamer like yuna.... you can create bot by macro. they should turn off activiting macro by macro.

 

max lvl of mob is lvl 60 drake in dragon waley - some russians are 60+ but

count that 69 will be top border cause of blue mobs - the reason will be simple hit lvl 60+
and start working on market things as cafters and spoil items for preparation of a grade in next epilogue ,
so that's the case , c1 will be and always was ginding epilogue real funn starting in c2,c3 , when loa and toi will be open,

just fyi these people who are 60+ are each day from 18 of november in game ( mages groups ) 3+ months of 12h+ gaming
mele are arround 50- 55 now -

loa opened in kr a week ago with kariks and **** so ppl can reach lvl 75 but im sure ru server is exping faster than the kr server

 

not 12 h farming, but 18-20 hours farming per day (their chars) and 4 hours pvp , at average (confirmed). ofc not the same guys are playing chars 24 hours, but chars are active 24 hours (instinct party, linarig party, silent party).

 

i'll just drop my opinion here:

once you do that characters are just tools rather than _your_ avatar in that world.

to any of you peeps who'd do something like that, have fun with it. i'll be having fun my way... the nicy slow-grinding, making friends and having fun kinda way. (also reading quests because the early lore is kind of completely lost with god)

 

that's not how 99,9% players are playing (including me) aswell. they are not doing it for fun, but for the money. russia doesn't have too high standard and these players are getting few thousand bucks per month, so i guess for them it's reasonable.

 

i played russian for several months and trust me i loved it and that's with almost no eu community at all there (less than 20 active players). now imagine how awesome feeling would be to play with fully eng speaking community. ofc, there are several issues that need to be resolved (the way russians resolved it), the biggest issue being bots and rates.

 

i played it as well and i found it to be a poor copy of the original c1. i hate the use of etheria client with the current system but only using modified c1 scripts. the rates will never change and the bots will do everything they can to invade the server because many people paying a monthly fee, plus 1/6th drop rates will not want to put up with the adena grind that's even harder than the original c1.

for me there was no awsome feeling, just a massive grind and a cash grab for innova. in ru it was hot at first but now there is only one server with a decent population, the others are pretty much ghost towns. same thing happened in korea.

 

gran kain has over 5k online (confirmed) every evening and same tiv has over 6k online. other servers have around 2k at peak time which isn't too much, but that's just 1 more argument that eu/western community should have 1 server in total and that one would be populated.

 

i am a us player but would gladly play on an eu classic and would do my best to bring back everyone i played with since closed beta! classic l2 c1-c4 was a great time, a great game and i would play the **** out of a l2 classic server!!!

 

usa player as well i will be playing on the eu server as will many americans/south americans. the thing innova needs to do is not release more than 1 or 2 servers. keep all the players and competition on one server makes for a fun environment.

 

i agree, not more then 2 servers. actually, at the beginning they both might be full, but after 1 or 2 months we will have online only for 1 full server.

so maybe the best solution is to launch 2 servers at the start, but to make a merge after 1-3 months, because we will have the situation, like on ru classic:

 

dunno at which hour you took that screen but i guess late night/early morning, cause gk has like 4,5k at peak time
also in my opinion its pointless to split factor clans to 2 servers instead of one

 

well if from those 2.4 or 4.5k online at least 60% would be alive people , still would be nice server
cause as i heard there is a lot of bots ,but gm's are baning

and if you check it regularly at prime time, you will see that online is much lower, than your wished 4,5

a lot of people have left the classic since the start, because there are people who play 16-20h to earn money by it. you probably saw them on screens, they are 60+.

it really decrease the moral to play, because average player with online less then 4 hours even doesn't have 40+ lvl.

there are 1245 characters with second class.
and 28287 with first.
so only 4,4% of characters are 40+, while there are actually 60+ heroes.

i hope that eu admins won't let rmt players to spoil the server, by making unreal demands of online, like it is now on gran kain.

 

are u serious? 28287 still with first class?? and this is call "i want old l2 back" :d

 

russian clans are known for playing to pay the bills, most of the eu games for leisure so i don't see that sort of thing happening large scale on an eu server, we can all be level 36 for life because we have to go to work the next morning.
