    hello,

i want to explain my problem...

first, i know that it's illegal the modification of the user.ini file, also, i can't bypass the frozen check for the file... but maybe you have another solution. thanks in advance for trying at least to help me with this.

in the user.ini, there is a value that i need to modify, to let the camera move as using the " inverted mouse " option (not in lineage2).

the original value is +3600 and i need to change it to -3600.

i can't take any advantage of this. i use the invert mouse option in all the games and in this particular game always needed to adjust the setting in the user.ini file, this camera is driving me crazy.

    thanks,
    mephist0.

    hello mephist0,

unfortunately, there is no solution to the problem "i want to do something prohibited" :)

    mmm...

because of that last part ("i want to do something prohibited"), every time i will change the "invert mouse" setting in a game, i will feel like i'm cheating...

    thanks anyway.

note: i found in the ncwest forums a solution for this problem... but i need to confirm if this enters in the 3d party programs restriction.

using glovepie and a little script that a user post, it allows to simulate the invert mouse.

if it is a result of you modifying files then yes you are doing something prohibited, this was already made clear to you.

as for your other question, please wait for further clarification.

i asked for other solutions... the problem itself is not to do something prohibited... is to allow me to simulate the "invert mouse" feature in lineage2. i explained what i modified to clarify one of the solutions. in every server i played, i was forced to modify this file and that value.

thanks for taking the time to clarify this, i expect that this little script could help me with this problem.

i understand your wish to play the way you are used to playing and i do appreciate that you are asking for advice here on forum, but modifying client files is prohibited and will be treated as a violation.
i will try to find another solution for you and it will take some time. but as soon as i have an answer, i will come back to you :)

if you can take a look at glovepie and the code i posted here. if this can be used to simulate the "invert mouse" feature, that will be helpful for other users looking for this.

    thank you very much,
    mephist0

since posted script doesn't connect to or modify game client in any way, and also do not automate or give any advantage while playing, its legit to use. sadly, frost blocks 90% of basic software emulated events, including mouse movements, so prolly it wont work anyway :p

merci beaucoup pour l'information de frost.
