totally agree with lisa and other people here.

since god the elderly game engine is stressed with all new inplemented graphical details taken from f.e. aion.
hoping or asking for a translation of this old game into a new game engine is kinda useless!
reason: we customers are talking to companies (profit-orientated)
--> so marketing's point of view: investing into this old game = "beating a dead horse".
= will never happen!


now innova could do the trick to maintain customers satisfaction.
this old game engine has some, small but still existing, capabilities to increase the performance by editing the games' .ini files. adjusting some of those settings in there could satisfy a large player base who don't have nasa gaming machines.
i've collected some experience in the past with, in my opinion, great success.
"frameless window mode", "memory cache size", "numbers of shown objects/items", forcing a lower fps in "minimum frame option" mode etc.
modification of those: don't hurt, aren't damaging, malicious etc.

at the moment any editing isn't possible due to frost protection. but it should be possible to allow changing some values in those .ini files without opening/lowering frost's protection level.
[innova editor with an fixed amount of "extra options" that can be changed by us & telling frost: "these changes are friend" ;-) ] ?


i hope innova's dev-team will bring this point into next meeting and really think about it.

if there is a will to maintain customers satisfaction & gaining more potential customers by creating a "pimped" game engine with better performance.....




point for korea: please add option to skip video-sequences everywhere!
everday baylor/normal spezion/octavis etc.... etc.... is so annoying.

totally forgot to say: yes! we want gate chant back!

 

put the dual maximun hp in passive, it's stupid to put the toggle in skills bars....

i would love to see the old unreal 2.5 engine updated but that is something that will never happen.

lineage classic server would be nice as long as there is no cash shop or pa. only downside to this is the adena rates are only 1/6th of what the original c1 system was so money and gear would be extremely difficult to obtain.

i think that maybe innova can do that since only frost doesnt allow you to modify em(as i understood), maybe they can, maybe they cannot, anyway, if so, you can always modify those .ini files since you know howto , maybe adding some exception to frost can solve that and i think will be a good improvement, but i repeat, im not even a lil close to be sure that innova can modify those files also, requestingdeepblue help here.
@redwind: also im supporting this, i dont know if the answer from devs was to make appear stone of destiny exactly af it was or keeping race stats and skills.

 

Nope we can not edit game client files, we are contracted to host the game in the state that the Developers provide it to us and the editing of any game client folders by users is a bannable offense.

 

possible to put old pk system back ? or at least change the one we have atm. now it's kinda useless to pk someone since is pain in the *** to clear karma.

well people from ncwest says it's impossible to edit files there, while innova has license to do it;p so dunno who believe to
