Mouse configuration

hello there, i recently joined this server and wanted to ask a question. i tried to do it at 4game support but it has been 5 days now since i got a support ticket and no reply. maybe i did something wrong, i am nab, who knows?

so, like many gamers, i too am using one of those "gaming mice" that are equipped with extra buttons. those extra buttons can be configured and linked to certain in-game actions of the character so the player can have fast access to those actions with just a small movement of the thumb or whichever finger

i am using a universal mouse software for that purpose "x-mouse button control v.2.5" but when i tried use it, i realized that even after making the needed adjustments nothing is working when my client's window is in first-view. my guess is that frost is blocking it.

so question goes like this: is there any way to bypass this issue and manage to setup fuctionable shortcuts with the mouse buttons? or some other universal software that innova team suggests to use instead of this one for this purpose?

i realize this must be a popular subject for new gamers here but after searching forums a bit, i was unable to find the information that i was looking for, so please help

ps: when i say "universal software" i mean not something like razer synapse that is only working with razer products.

well, i just want to map two mouse buttons, one to f6 and one to f8. you're telling me that there is no way to do something as simple? you're telling me there's no way to do that kind of "advanced" macro?

 

razzly said what he said, i don't doubt it.
on the other hand one of the gms (or the cm) once said that frost blocks emulated input and not the hardware input.
it's somewhere around here, look it up if you want.
