Jewels + Weapon on a Healer

i wanted to create a new topic, but since this one is still here and focus on the same question as mine...:
(those questions are mainly open-pvp wise)
-what is the best adena-efficient weapon ?
-what is the best weapon if you have some adenas (like 3-5b) ?
-what is the best weapon if you have a lot of money ?

by the way, i just read above that one person was in favor of a health weapon, while the other wanted a acumen/mana up weapon. what is the most efficient ? and what about the s duals +4 ? are they good, even if you cannot put a shield/sigil on your off hand ?

i wish healers finaly stop speak about those duals ... seriously.

i do play with health weapon and if i will have money in future i will change apo to pve cutter. because for me is hp bonus still better than acumen. everything depends on your gear. i do not have good gear when i play with mine and borrowed from cp feoh, so for me is hp build way how to survive in pvp. when i will reach 16ap + pvp set and boss jew i will maybe change it. i did test with my apo health cutter and +7 double sa blessed r99 retri and difference in panic heal was around 2k hp. so even if there are people who preffer retri for some reason i wont change it.

 

will you reach a really good (i.e capped or almost) cast speed with knight harmo and health, or is wiz harmo better ? (cause of the 20% cdr and the mdef)

 

you can always use frantic heal for max cast. and wizz harmony + no daring better than knight.

blessed apo buster 2xsa ++ or blessed apo cutter ++++ (i don't know about cutter)

blessed amaranthine cutter health ++ or pve cutter

hero weapon... seriously though for me jewels/armor/aps/dual class are way more important than weapon, but that's off-topic.

health weapons improve survivability at cost of heal power... with pve cutters at +6 or higher, you don't sacrifice heal power anymore though. it's a choice you make as you pvp, you get what you think will help you more. for example, many people prefer hp dual class skills, while i've noticed that physical/mentral trait to not get stunned by daggers 24/7 help me a lot more than hp.

ronove has a point. i would say everything depends on what suit to you. people play with different setups, so only you have to know, what is better for you.

 

check sigil pdef bonus by yourself...

 

so, before i get my hands on a pve cutter, a blessed apo 2sa will do the work.

slightly off topic : dyes ? con (hp/cp, resist stun), men (mdef, mp, resist debuffs) or wit (cast, crit rate) ? ^^

by the way, the healer is my dual, that's why there are a lot of points i don't know... as for example what's better between (+27%pdef/mdef counter and 6%hp) and (+24% hp)

i don't understand what's the point of the sigil here... the sigil is for healing power, not tankiness

 

personally i wouldn't waste a lot of money on my dual class and use equipment from my main (if equip fits healer at least a bit :d), unless you are going to pvp a lot and want your healer to be efficient in it (or play healer mainly).

i think you should try to balance wit and con depending on your race. at least 2x wit should be fine cause you get decent casting speed (with non acu weapon) and m.crit increase. i personaly think that m.crit is more important for healer than m.atk, cause it is hard to reach break points in healing power increase. 17k m.atk is fine, you can reach it with apo cutter (if you want to concentrate on hp build), or apo buster (if you want more casting speed and mp).

actually if you check stats, sigil gives more defence than shield (+some bonus to healing), and since healers don't use knight harmony anymore (as you might know it increase shield defence), in my opinion sigil right now is better.

true, but for low geared people (without pve/pvp/blessed r99 weapons) the difference of healing power you lose is so small that you don't even feel it.

i'm sorry, i meant "a blessed apo buster 2 sa will do the job". i think that as long as i don't have the wit dyes, acumen will help me a lot.
