Servers Community Clan Leaders Meeting (Details & Suggestions)

hi to all,

after some issues occured in our server the past weeks, a community clans leaders meeting took place in blackangels teamspeak on tuesday 8th of july. cls (that were present) were informed and discussed the situation, the issues that have came up, and all pointed out opinions and suggestions about the game, the services of our client provider and other stuff, so that we will have a "common line" before the meeting with the cm and gms take place.
after communicating with cmonyx, was asked to provide detailed info about our meeting's topics and suggestions, so that they could discuss on their own privacy, before meeting each others.

below is the topics and details/suggestions of the cls meeting (tried to be as much accurate and brief i could):

inside game aggreement to let out any personal/ingame problem as the issues have to do with the game's playground and are not individual.
topics that were talked over are:

# real money trade (rmt).
in our opinion the community of the server cannot take any real actions to prevent this problem. all we can do is just kick out anyone that we know that is trying to do that, from our clans. main problem regarding our actions is that none will really tell: "yes i sell adena, or characters... etc etc". everyone can talk differently in an open conversation, but do other stuff on his own for his own profit. so its bit hard for us to do something to really prevent rmt.
on the other hand, the gms could take measures by checking amounts of adena transfered without having real sell/buy "options". they should check these kind of transactions more and more and more with what ever "tools" they have or can get. same with accounts that are changing country ip, or main login info, like asking reason of change and authorize it or not after checking it if it stands or not for real.

# limit lines to l2store items.
we understand that l2store have to do with the profit of the company that is owning the server. the more l2store sells, the more profit they have, and of course its businees for them and they want to make more money. understundable.
here we suggest that they should reconsider a bit the balance of the game accoring some items that come out of l2store. some items are just too much to be given from l2store and its unfair for the players that do not have too much money to compit the ones that have. so our suggestion to put some limits on those particular items that comes out of there or find other ways to make their profits rise up and not ever put them again.
in few words: no more o.p. items on l2store.
here we note to you that there are many players have left or leaving the server for the above reason.

# effective ways to fight out bots.
this is a topic that is be talked about in all l2 communities for many years. so i will not analyze it at all. many opinions were talked out in our meeting. no need to say that we not like bots. point is how to kick them out.
first of all players are not obligated to go around find bots to point them out. when ever they can its ok and who ever will petition on them its good. but players log in the game to play.
gms should be more "live" on this issue in our opinion, and take more actions, by being online more and more, but not hanging around in towns. i suppose you understand the point. rest you can figure it out.
also should cancel this 30 days bann warning for catching a bot for first time. if someone is botting = permanent bann.
if the problem for not catching bots is forst or other security system then throwi it away and get another one.
if gms are not enough, get more gms.
you have to understand that you have to take the 99,9% of actions about this issue.

# gms and responsibilities.
as mentioned above need more active gms online in daily mode. to be more accurate we dont need the gms in the morning, sorry. we need them in the "rush" hour when we play in afternoon until around midnight. thats when the server is alive, thats when gms need to be with us to provide service instantly.
(keep in mind that maybe this way you will have less petitions, to read and examine every day).
need gms to be on on the main "concepts" of the game like sieges, dragon, rbs (like qa, baium, orfen).
gms numbers in our opinion are not enough. need at least double the number of them.

# drop rates affecting economy of server.
economy of the game is totally destroyed.
many players cannot even put on them a normal set of equipment when they catch up lvls to do it.
prices are rizing everyday and l2store is pushing on this direction too.
even the dragon drops ****s hard, sorry but its true.
you should reconcider re-checking drop rates of instances, farming areas, castles manor system, spoiling, and of course crafting cause the rate of materials droppng is more than ridiculuss. actually some materials that some recipes asking for craft we have never seen them. epic????

# lineage 2 client product checking and approval.
the game is a product and in our opinion need to be more checked out and approved before give it away to the customers, that we are more or less.
after so many years, still have heavy problems regarding of course the gameplay.
exploits? bugs? games rules?
if we start pointing them out we will get tired off...
finally take action and fix the client once and for all. it is just a simple action, and you just have to do it, and its not hard in our opinion. 99% of all bugs, expoits are well known and reported to you from all l2 servers. so make it happen so that we will play better, and you will have less trouble and cry in your ears/eyes.

since a long post can make your eyes tired and maybe miss something i point out with colored letters some really important parts in my opinion.

 

this is pa and other xp boosts fault.

 

sell adena: u cant stop it
l2store: u cant do it anything, if korea want more money.sonn brooch coming so more money and empty server :d
bots: first must gm know something about bots, scripts(not flame but real true)
economy: doesnt exist a long time ago, anyway l2store killed it.
client: at first time korea if want fix it, they will do it.but this game is old and polygons in this game are very bad.u must recompile and remake full client and it its impossible for there days.

about gm online status: thats problem many months, depends if they want do something with their status in game.

svoloc: its not problem pa, i remember when we did leveling there wasnt any problem.problem is balance between adena and items.

anyway people:
learn the last post do not use quote, its simple rules on every forum.

economy is ruined cuz some ppl have too much adena and they can easily buy a +6+ sets, weapons, epics. it's cuz of l2store buy/sell, rmt, bots. if it's easy to sell stuffs even in a high price ofc prices won't go lower. since bots can farm billions / day / week nothing can stop economy falling.
about drops, should be fixed somehow, cuz it's ridiculous. a long ago. i liked in god how you could farm everything for yourself, maybe was a way easy so let's find some happy middle. same for spoil and craft, they are almost pointless to be in this game anymore.
and for the last but not least do something with this engine. way too old, very very old.

 

i enjoy very much the rivers of tears all over this forum . pardon , i meant tears of anguish , either way - get a grip mf's .
what the hell is clan leader reunion or meating and how is this any interesting to the headquarters of the server ?
you know that nobody of the staff actually gives a **** , right ? i mean they say yeah we gonna do this and that , but the reality is no1 is moving his finger - and that is actually good business plan - because they found compact mass of ppl with unstoppable tears about anything and anyone , but this mass is loyal to the game and never will leave the server .
simple as that . and it wouldn't be the first server i witnessed this happening . back in 2005 someone who couldn't set his program and was mad at the system , cuz he couldn't use it started look alike "campain" which led to a free vitality potions event , which closed the mouth of the unskilled botter wannabe person .
so my question is , what do you want from innova ? would you like a plate of meat or something that will help you forget ?

seriously , stop crying , this server is the best server of all times . and you know it . it's so good , even not playing it , ppl are important part of it . ppl like me enjoy the good laugh and everyday drama over something so stupid , which if said irl , you would be called pathetic loser , rat and such . so don't worry suit yourself , keep talking , keep giving the ppl a material to read from whenever they are .

stop talking bot supporter. this server was "best" before p2w l2store and massive waves of botters from ncwest. i am really glad to see some non-hating ppl at enemy side that actually want to do something about the situation the core is being right now.
ofc, final decision is upon innova and ncsoft korea, resp.

i'm here from day 1 of this server.
and pay2win has always been here,even before players started to register.
the whole god thing was centered around the idea of a p2w fueled community,ever knowledged dev or player would just confirm it.

thats a stronghold of their economic policy,live with it, no riot in the world is changing their monthly income just cause you demand it in tears.
once they forbid to trade pa-store stuff for adenas,thats exactly where the server economy died.
i'm speaking about a known 2012 topic,and if you check archive you can still find "wtb pa for adena" truck of threads.

you still don't grasp that the company hosting this server follows different priciples than your own.

 

less l2 p2w store will sure be good.... but they just put shirts before a week........... and shirts are too overpower!!!!and you can obtain them only via l2 store.
so i dont think innova care so much. offcourse is player fault that they keep bying shirts.... many complain about p2w but keep open their wallets.
now with +10 shirts which can used in olympiad also and can give so many active and passive skill the balanced ruined. its not to be a hero but to have descent fight in oly.
for example full restoration of cp/hp/mp active skill.......

 

they did that gm event that made people get them w/o l2 store and i myself got one +7 by exchanging and old power shirt i had +7 (got lucky to get it by opening 1 old box in aden. well, it is still p2w but they try to soften it. these shirts also were delayed here 1+ year since i was in ncwest still when they released them there and i am here already 1+ year.

 

every 2 month 1 l2store event , if we continue like that , a lot of ppl will say bb.

atm a lot of ppl praying to no see l2store event with brooches

 

let's say... if they put those new features ( shiny shirts, brooch system, boxes etc) on an npc in game that sells them for adena, would it be ok ? everyone would accept it? i guess you would.
since you can buy l2store to other ppl for adena, it's the same result. i never spent money on l2store, and i am participating on all so called "l2 sotre events". why? because i farm adena.
what do you need to do to farm adena? go to gainak, crossroad and pvp for spots.
since you are staying on town, just crying and complaining about "l2sotre events" and not trying to fight in game to control the farm spots, your words are senseless.

that l2 store sellers are improving much faster than you? right, but it costs them his money, that for me, it's not worth to spend in a game, but if they have, and want to burn it here, good for them.

 

that made me have a stroke.

 

it's either pay 2 win or pay 2 play, you can't freeload like on a private server. obviously innova wasn't doing enough money by only selling cosmetic and exp/sp items.

also it's an excuse that you can't get an item because you can't or won't pay for it with real currency, if real currency isn't an option you can always farm adena and buy from those who sell l2store items.

 

which i remember is forbidden from innova staff since almost three years.

 

it is soooooo forbidden that they put in l2store 'boxes' that you can sell/trade instead of directly the non-tradable item. :d

 

remove "gift" button. make items not tradable. problem solved.
