hey guys.. i came to ncsoft oficial server (american) to try play here.. server are fully of bots using xxxxx, xxxxxx, xxxxxx and a lot of program.. i want to know how this work here? have a gm/staff with a banhammer always? i have many chars there.. but there are a rtm server only.. no pvp.. only one side.. nothing.. thanks
low population of bots, really low. ppl are use to report and staff is used to ban them. ofc no server is perfect, but this one is the best in terms of legit gameplay.
not quite accurate : you can have x+1 accounts logged where x is the number of premium accounts. so lets make an exemple if you don't understand math : 0 pa = 0+1 = 1 account 1 pa = 1+1 = 2 account and so on.
there's no official information about it, everything you will get or hear are rumors, but you won't have problems to find party to do every daily, or at least, almost everything useful, low ammount of ppl do fortuna, for example.
didn't see any limitation, think the things on the promo site are just exemples. so if you have a computer enough powerfull to handle a full party, you can.
the number of premium accounts you can log, depends only of your computer power. there is no limitation here.
dont be sarcastic. but you better explains if you got technical knowledge. this is general discussion, not flame nor troll war there. the application that owns the number of accounts you can log on is frost via a modified authentification daemons on server side. it tells the number of running l2.exe or l2.bin running on a same computer, it's not a restriction per ip. frost run in negative pid (=invisible) frost obfuscate the game rendering it almost impossible to learn the data in memory (=no modification of memory) make a private encrypted tunnel like a proxy (=no forged custom packet), control well know ports (rfc like) to assure a basic security of the account (=no hack nor man in the middle) act as a checker/updater (it got md5 signature of every files that need to stay in check to prevent any modification on hem, and update hem for a repository) and last but not least act as a basic antivirus by makes impossible to run debug/memory reading tools/prevent programs with certains signature or behavior to be running (make the test with some microsoft powertools )
the guy i quoted had an irrelevant opinion . im a bit troll , i do admit it .. but im also anti-stupidity . trust me i spotted one so i had to comment on that . p.s : i do not hate :d
