Ertheia release

they could have 2 or 3 times more players here that means more money if they can manage things. but it's ridiculous seriously.

 

it's been over 7 hours and their announcment isn't out yet. guys, get ready, this will be huge.

 

and the announce will be like this:
"ertheia will be released probably in next 3 week. happy halloween"

 

how long does it take to make an announcement?

 

yep, because to make a decent annoucement and post the patch notes somewhere u need 100 workers, and another 100 workers to send a mass mail to reg people, saying "hi, dunno if u remember us but we have a new update" and website linked with patch notes etc...

is about putting just a bit of effort, nothing else, but they dont care, and this can be done with very few people.

look 4gameforum reg users: members 19,497 that means that there is 20 000 mails to "spam"... if only 1% of that mails come and plays l2 again would be osom for server and for innova pocket...

 

cmonyx you and part of innova taking care of server core are profesionals or just randoms from street ?

im feeling sometimes that random pt with low eq ppl in cr/hb is better than you dealing with community.

 

i bet non of you ever worked as community menager - i'm not saying things r ok / but comon stop being like a kiddo.

 

for announcement and update: 1 person making website, other write to forum, twitter, facebook, other gathering info (patch note) or so, 2 people who do the technical stuffs like installing webpage, game for the server, maybe need 1 more guy who deal with the data to not to be lost after the update. what else? man really, they had more than 2 weeks - well let's say much more cuz ertheia is close to an old chronicle on korean servers - or so to do the basics like webpage, text for announcements blabla...

even the stuff to not able to do a proper pts is ridiculous but this? no announcement, patch notes etc. just before some hours until the live. it's a joke.

 

did you noticed, that there is huge update which is running for several months in korea, several weeks in na and ru, should run several weeks in eu but is delayed because, because. late update was delayed by another 14 days and it's few hours till planned update, we have no info, no patch notes, no replies and you ask customers to stop being a kiddo? cmon

 

i'm asking to stop blame cm on that delay's / you realy think is they decision ?

 

community manager isn't responsible for delay of update. community manager is responsible for lack of communication. if they have to delay the updates, i am fine with that, but inform us about it with announcments and not in random posts with almost no info included....

 

we are roughly 13 hours before the update.
an update witch was originally announced for the end of september (with the big announce "expect big things in the end of the month")

an update that has been running on ncwest for ~3 months now.

that we had a pts where you started at level 1 without any gear/adena etc etc, so you couldn't test a thing.

where the gms lied about the updates (check trigger posts at the other thread)
where the cm doesn't even check the forum during the weekend. and we have to wait for monday to get a reply.

i repeat we are 13 hours before the servers go down to update and:


no patch notes
no announcement
no advertisement


and someone here is saying "come on it's not the cms fault"


really? who is to blame then?

please stop making fun of gm , they are not clueless clown , they are professional guys with some master in communication and advertising , with lot of community management experience .

 

this is a very low budget project, don't expect miracles from admins.

 

dude they said that tomorrow are ertheias, thats the only thing that matters, they should be working on patchnotes.

patch notes will be the same as here and here or almost the same.

 

ok we got patchnotes + announcement buuuut we only got patchnotes for the post-ertheia update and not actually the ertheia update. guess you can't have everything !

 

i don't understand, what's hard to copy/paste patch notes onyx? i'm sure that the patch notes is ready since few months.

 

failing to copy - paste is a new level of the epic fails...
