hello, i am just random archer running around who is getting closer to end game, however i am just wondered about your opinions in terms of eqipment: 1) what is better in terms of pvp dmg since new update? blessed apo bow 2sa +10 or more / blessed amaranthine 2sa + 4? does bigger p.atck from amaranthine affects the skill dmg a lot? is there any formula available for this? 2)jewels, what do you think, is best set of jewels + possible replacment for unavailble or more like very expensive jews? i would appricate your advice. thanks, kvothe
high mdef jewels; i'd by head recommend normal istina necklace (as replacement for blessed valakas), normal istina earring (stun + mdef; as replacement for blessed antharas), now either any coc earring giving for eg. mental resistence or more stun resist + atk (functioning as replacement for lindvior earring) or another octavis earring or istina earring on magic type; else a normal antharas earring would be a good but expensive choice; blessed zaken is the cheaper and yet same effective option. as rings in pvp i'd recommend beleth ring (highest mdef boost) and octavis ring warrior (3% atk speed i think and 15% crit dmg) (replacement for trasken ring + tauti ring) or baium/blessed baium/blessed ant queen + beleth or + octavis warrior ring; for pve a combination of atk speed and crit dmg is important for you as archer, in pvp your usual crit dmg without me + rhapsody doesnt justify these low mdef rings hence the mdef stacking is important as mostly mages will burn you down. (top jewels: blessed antharas earring, lindvior earring, blessed valakas necklace, tauti's ring and earth wyrm ring) as bow i cannot tell you directly, but i highly assume that a double sa'd amaranthine bow will be better, since you can always put one more lesser giant's on it (on a +5 weapon it has still a high chance to succeed, and making +5 isn't expensive compared to the cost of getting a double sa'd r99 bow) and get it +7++; and you can put pvp (or if it's too expensive then you can put pve for the 10% hp/cp/mp and much higher patk compared to apo bow) now if the apo bow is around +12-15 it will surely be better though. at +10 i dont think it's worth it.
1. if you can get blessed r99 2sa then go get it, because in the long run you'll be able to put pve/pvp, or even overenchant it yourself. whereas blessed apo bow +10 2sa sure is good, you'll want to change it eventually. but if you already have the +10 bow then i'd say don't bother as you'll probably do the same damage with the r99 2sa bow 2. it really depends on your budget. low budget you can be fine for a very long time in open / mass pvp with just an octa warrior necklace and high mdef jewel like istina or octavis. most important jewel to get if you have the budget for it is tauti ring, others are self explanatory.
i made test blessed r99 +6 1sa vs apo +8 blessed 2 sa pinpot hit /target necro with summon r 1292 p atak 2hit - 1990 (4.641 servitor), 1899 (4.430) r99 p atak 1457 2hit - 1922 (4,485), 1853 (4323) blessed amarantine cost 6b apo cost 2.5b
vlm here was talking about prices , so yeah indeed i think amaranthine cost more and that's why vlm precised "if you can get it" the reason to get the amaranthine , is only the possibilty to improve the weapon , apocalypse is limited , you can only over enchant it and when you reach a certain level of overenchant , you almost can't overenchant it more, but vlm said already all that ! so yeah amaranthine for sure if you can get it !
of course with 2 sa better but i can't test it coz it too expensive for me pay about 7b for second sa and next 5b for pve or 30b for pvp i can only say the weapons is only for big donators with 1000+euro, or for someone who play 2-3 years. maybe can colect the amount crazy adena to bay gems r, coz from drop gem r maybe you can collect it after 10 years or 20 years istina 1 gem r and antharas 1 gem r.
