    hey there!

sorry for this newbie question but the last time i played lineage was a long time ago ( c4 )...

i was checking the internet and i found a lineage ost video and i started to miss lineage :p so now i want to play it and i have no idea what class i should pick.

in c4 i was a dark avenger. i had friends and a huge clan so no problem.

i kinda google some stuff but i still need to listen from the experts :p

can you guys give me a little advice please?
    im looking for this:

+ self sustained (excellent for solo play, no party needed.)
+ priority / exelent for pve (fast lvling / adenas) .
+ good defence (good hp ( m and pdef))
+ crowd control is a plus
+ fast movement speed (base stats or with self buffs)
    + fun to play

    -/+ useful to a party

    - pvp not a big priority at least at early game... maybe after 80 ill think about it.
    - no daggers please (i hate the fact that blows miss alot)

i really loved the trickster from what i read cus it goes with my personality, i like fast stuff, but it might no go with the gameplay i need. looks like super fun... traps, teleports, super speed, attack speed and crit, but looks like its squichy so i dont really want that, i need a little sustain since im soloing all the time.

really sorry for this and thank you so much in advance :)

    best regards.

i'm main wynn summoner and i must say it is very efficient in solo lvling, tho you wanna consider joining exp partys sooner or later, because exping is quite faster.

it's imo cheapest class to play, since you only need beast soulshots and you can summon them from r-crystals. everyone is looking for wynn class when doing instances, raids etc., meaning you will get party fast.

you can focus on single target or aoe. for me it is very fun to play :p

it's pretty fast class, tho with self buffs only it is slow on any character. stats are good, there is no real crowd control, but single taget debuffs (marks) are awesome and ppl demand you always cast them when in raid fights.
noone can lvl solo only, for that you will need iss buffs no matter what class you are. so either join clan with hall that provides iss buffs or roll an iss on 2nd account and dualbox it when lvling (you need premium for dualboxing, you can also log in from 2nd pc or laptop if you have it and buff yourself that way).

hope i helped a little. good luck! :p

yul/wynn/feoh/tyrr solo fine, all other classes probably 2nd tier in solo.

fastest solo leveling is feoh, after yul/wynn/tyrr, then the rest

stats aren't everything when there are skills like ultimate defense/evasion, giants barrier, arcane barrier, transfer pain, guts, class passives make a big deal too (tank with 5k pdef will still be more tanky than tyrr with 8k imo)

you're asking a bit much, well...
feoh can position around very fast with the jumps, has self buffs for movement speed (which get interrupted after being hit), has some crowd control in the form of hell binding, and shadow snares, useful in aoe parties.
yul can also position around very fast, has high base movement speed, has stun, knock back and slow, useful in all rbs and lethal parties.
wynn can't position that well and doesn't have very high speed, overall not a very mobile class, it has pretty good crowd control with exile, binding, and mark of trick.
tyrr has some rush and jumps, but only to people, so if you want to run away or to different position, well, get your running shoes on. you can put self buff for running faster but at the cost of other stats (using rabbit cry instead of ogre cry). has a lot of cc with knock downs and stuns.
tank can have high move speed with proper aura, and self buffs, and is the class with most cc.~~

healer/iss, no cc, not very high mobility.

soloing is far from being a problem for yul as long as you have iss buffs

and i would recommend tyrr dreadnought, it is awesome for solo exp (with iss box obviously), after 95 nearly all gf exp parties are taking it for pulling mobs, which makes exp fast enough. it has 3 aoe stuns, and alot of hp, also not bad in olympiad.
