sorry for offtopic but snowyz he has ever known everything about everyone and yet his mage dmg was not enough to kill poor healer like me during some shutgard cs. even my cp refused to kill him at first so i had to shout to them.
snowyz, are you boxing all these chars you are were talking about over history of core? just my 2 cents

 

no big deal for a mage without enchant skill, a single magic critical damage ring, r95 staff 1 sa and not even blessed, no good dyes and without a good assisting dd's. if you tried to come here to embarrass me, you just embarressed yourself.
on note: your cp didn't kill me, that's even worst.

what theory lol, go use gloom and check single cleanse reuse.

i know approximately his gear and thats why i said it wasnt as much as troy has. (as much doesnt mean phantom is running with tw, why do you guys always have to over exaggerate?)


@shimura: yes 3 healers are good too, but i never liked three healer setup as i've stated several times and yet again, i didnt watch the fraps and hence i cant say more about this specific pvp.

 

i agree partly on your gloom theory but you are not counting all the variables, there are 2 healers in party with different ping/delay and reflexes so the chance they use cleanse at the same time is 0. so considering this and the rotation between single/mass purges with good cooperation between healers you cant keep gloom up for more than 1-2 shots unless healers are really bad.
about 3 healer setup just no comment. just go watch more competitive skillwise servers than core, noone runs this setup. it's good to coverup weakness of healers on single purging. nothing more.

 

i agree on the 3 healer setup and i also agree on your argument for the gloom thing, but you have to say that this would also require a) no tank to bother 1 of the healers and b) absolutely no debuffs or focus on anyone else.

 

i do not agree with you, i have my own opinion about it that 3 not geared healers are better in pt then 2 not geared and tank, situation is changing when healers are geared then 2 healers and tank are better.

i see what dmg i deal to my healers in pt, and i would like to have them as a enemy gloom for one destruction is almost enough to one shoot them, so rly i prefer to have 3 healers and 3 purge to don't give much opportunity to one shoot them by the enemy.

 

splitting pressure and fast target switching has nothing to do with healer , it's all about how skilled the main assister is so he outsmart the healersi. for me after disables on the other healer gloom and chaos are my first priority to cleanse.
@blackbird you are propably one of the strongest nukers in server so it is perfectly normal. also you do realize that if you crit on 2 skills in a row even on purge you gonna tear them appart also? it doesn't matter how many healers you have when you are fighting people like you or any other stacked dd. it's how you recover and honestly 2 healer/ tank party recovers easier than 3 healer one even if that sounds odd.
