Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

It's hard to believe, but it seems Santa Claus has gone missing right before the New Year! We need to find him if we don't want the fun of the holiday get spoiled. What a New Year is it without good old Santa? Charming Noelle volunteered to find him and help players get ready for the upcoming holidays. If you help Noelle with her job she will give your the reward


Event schedule:

Event will last from 23rd of December 2014 till 13th of January 2015.
On 13th of January 2015 NPC Noelle will leave Elmoreden.
On 20th of January 2015 the following event items will be deleted:

How to participate:

Find NPC Noelle in one of the cities of Elmoreden. She is hiding under big holiday tree.



Noelle will tell you the details of Santa Claus going amiss. It's quite a story!



She is offering Fairy's Blessings to everyone:



The blessing have a bright animation and resemble a small agathion.



How to get a blessing?
Solo players can have only one of the three blessings at their choice. If they want the second blessing, it will replace the first one.



But there is an opportunity to get all 3 blessings at once if you fulfill any of the following conditions:

1) Be a part of the group which has characters of at least 3 different races (for example, Human, Orc and Dwarf);
2) Be a part of the group of 7 characters (of any races).

You will help Noelle to find Santa Claus by collecting special items — Santa's Marks. To collect them you don't need to hunt monsters, just ask Noelle to give you a blessing and you will get [sub][/sub] Santa's Mark (x1) when the blessing period ends. If your character had 3 blessings he/she will get 3 marks. To get the marks your character should be alive and have enough free slots in the inventory.

Also you can get temporary dressed into Santa's Suit. Ask Noelle for a special Santa's Suit appearance buff that lasts for 1 hour. This buff does not have any bonuses besides adding some New Year spirit to your character.

Get the New Year congratulations from the holiday tree!



Christmas tree has just a decorative function and does not give any buffs.

thanks for that event. is really great to have santa with us in our adventures. but some players maybe need some deals too. i spoke with my friends and we all want one sales ( 30-40 % ) for pa. i am sure that will be a really good gift for holidays and i wany you to consider it. you usually made deals for pa and i am sure that in holidays time will be perfect for all of us. thanks again.

 

i've spoken with my friends and they all want 4-8x xp/sp year also free epics and oe sets, weapons. after these they don't care about pa. :d

 

ty for nice event! ..i have one question tho, you only need 1 armor apperance item? or you need 1 for each armor piece?

 

only 1 item, you put it to the upper armor part and all the armor changes ^^

 

santa's suit

santa's suit is useless now, cause it kicks off your armor set. will it be a fix or change that this suit will be placed at underwear slot or so? so many players would be much happier thatway.

u use armor apearance stone to put christmas outfit. it's same as wedding dress/formal wear.

 

in this case appearance stone is even better than the real santa's suit, so its quite a non sense to me... there could be another type of santa's suit or so that is a little harder to achieve than this one. why do someone care making a suit (wedding dress, santa's suit...) when its no use? it's just like when a child gets something to play with, but he/she cant ever use it in his/her whole life. guild wars 2 is also ncsoft's creation there can be added so much fashion armor without dropping your armor. why not improve a little? it would be good. oh and what about assassins outfit? is that also like santa's suit? i guess not... time to get fashioned!
or maybe not... i am not one of the programmers anyway. i'm just waiting for a proper reply that says im right or stupid at all.

im just suprised that there was no pressents for ppl. as i renember even on lilith was extra maintance for give everyone some kind of little present. here was extra maintance to just lose 2,5h pa. so im dissapointed.

 

New Year is not here yet, so...just stay tuned and remember that Santa doesn't give presents to naughty boys and girls

santasuit appearance stone doesn't work on armor bought with diplomas.works as intended or bug? note i have a set modified with summer set on a set bought with diplomas so i dont understand the restriction.
