best yul archer

hi!

i just came back to l2 (last played in interlude), i've read all the patch notes and everything to kinda catch up with the game. i have made 2 characters so far, a d.elf archer and an elf archer, lvls 73 and 61.

when i played, back in interlude, i kinda new what's op and what not, but now i need some help.

i would like to know which of the archers (human, elf, dark elf or kamael) is the best at oly / siege / mass pvp, by what margin compared to the others, and why. all info and tips are appreciated.

 

i'd say kamael with old skills kept(real target + "rapid shot") using cross bow is the best in overall.

 

best is that one who can get gear for 8-10k eu. all others not worth attention.

 

i saw this video of archer vlm i don't see him having gear of 8-10k euros and he seems good

 

depends on ur budget.

best archer with "cheap" wallet is elf with rapid shot & fire. it is very good in open oly, mass pvp and siege. it **** balls for pve & cb, also the burst during br is underwhelming.
best archer with strong items is kamael with fast shot with 2 options : either you keep real target for mass pvp (very low cd, always land) - but you absolutly need a good weapon or your damage will really really ****. or you take bulleye which is more oriented oly & 7v7 (20% more dmg than real target, but higher cd & can fail).

regardless of the race, you should be playing as yul trickster.

and what about d.elf and human? they just plain ****?

 

human are bad, both in dex & str stats. d. elf have very good str stats but lack dex and keeping only rapid shot is not as good as having rapid fire + rapid shot from l. elf.

i'd say if you don't plan to keep old skills, d. elf are the best race, followed probably by kamael and l. elf which are pretty much equal.

 

and it's here where we disagree. a dark elf with old rapid shot kept + stacked dex is one of the best. still gonna have good str(120 is possible) and is capable of even 90 dex with it. high attack speed, high skill crit and high str.

 

why try to cover up weakness from one char when you can exploit where it's good at ? just my honest opinion.

 

so what do you suggest for d.elf? change all the old skills for the new ones and stack str? will it be viable? isn't it too slow? how does it compare to kamael and l.elf

 

it's not about ballance, it's about it be good in every aspect. having 120 str is godamm good already for double times and 80/90 dex still osom too for crits.

elf is top speed/attack speed and dex(skill crit) and kamael can have top attack speed too with mind eye(+++++ critical damage), the most diff is that kamael use xbow(less skill power, less weapon p attack) and elf has sh1tty str and no mind eye.

i agree. for exemple i'd never put str dyes, u did.

 

light elf race keep rapid fire+shot later switch to trickster and go full dex

again, depend on ur budget. if you can enchant ur skills to +10 then full str with quick fire. if you cant then keep rapid shot and take maybe 1 or 2 str dye and the rest as dex to have a decent atk spd

 

all str and dex dyes are -con. isn't that bad? for stun resistance and stuff in pvp?

 

take better dye than doesnt make you -con
