hello all, i have an eviscerator lvl 88, using a 100mb broadband connection and every time i use a buff/debuff skill the skill animation takes effect imediately but de buff/debuff aplyes with 0.5-1 sec delay. for example if i use fluid weave skill that is a buff with the duration of 3 seconds in the stats window the effect appears after 1 sec delay and the duration is only for 2 seconds. can someone enlighten me pls if its a bugg or its normal.

ps: i also use letrix latency fix

    thank you!

it kind of delay in game mechanic. its possible to hit players while they are on celestial protection buff for about 0,5-1 sec when its already active. it applies for almost every skill. it has been reported any number of times

casting time also needs a bit time to cast? thats why they can kill you. its the same with healer celest/disparition and so on ...

never mentioned that i am killed because of this and after the cast time animation i have the delay with any buff/debuff skill. also if i use a skill like gravity hit there is no delay because there is no buff/debuff effect that aplyes using this skill and another weird thing is that after i use my damaging skills my first 2 melee hits are w/o soulshots.

ps: i live in europe and i play on a european server while i never had this delay playing on ncwest.

the buff have 3 second duration, it shows as 2 because even if you have 2.99 seconds left, it will show 2 seconds.
it doesn't mind where you are or where you play, a lot of us use wtfast, battleping or whatever to fix the lag problem, it's sad to must use this kind of 3rd party programs to be able to play properly but welp.

well it' s annoying because i press the skill the animation cast is done and on alt+t appears after waiting for 1 second and after 2 secs it' s gone. this happens also with lateral hit and left/right sidestep. hope that if i will use a different 3rd program will solve this.

i was talking about the skill duration, not about the skill appearing, i have 6mb bandwith and i don't have problem with it on my evis ;)

    1) almost every class is suffering from these delays. celestials are awesome example. undying wills. dispartition. name a skill and it's probably a part of the list. it has also been reported and cried over on forums a few times already (see below, try use search lol). seems like developers either don't care or didn't find a fix yet.

    2) if you had a skill with duration time of around 2min, you will see: 1min on counter for 60 sec, then 59sec and countdown. if you cast a buff on yourself, for 30 mins in description, does it ever show 30 mins on counter? oh, yes, it does, if you got it +time or on mastery, else nope. this is part 1: never ever the full time appears, as the very second the buff is being cast, the time of it's duration is being used. i wonder also what exactly gives you the possibility of evaluating if the buff was on for 2 sec or 3 sec. really.

he is just missing the 2nd point.
about skill delay, on ertheias is totally fixed, hides work well, steel mind works well, 10 sec dispa from sayha works well, 10 secs unbind from evis works well, if he's having delay it's a problem of his connection,

nah, ssd is only working for "big loads" like when you port into oly or when you port into some city, you load faster, but i think it doesn't affects at all on that.
unless you are using it as you just port, of course, there, ssd would be important.

all my attacking skills are working just perfectly, gravity hit, backspin kick, pressure punch knock down works instantly all just fuild weave that takes 1 sec to appear in alt+t and doesn' t seems to last for alsmot 3 seconds and the debuffs from lateral hit and right/left sidestep upon aplying on the target takes almost 1 second. well if it' s a known issue i hope it will be fixed.
