NCSOFT will open a classic server

playing gk atm. classic is just too awesome to ignore it. hope innova decides to publish it for europe.

and i'm only playing l2 if innova publishes it. it's pointless to play any game hosted in america (aka ncwest l2) since laws protect the privacy of the persons (meaning anybody can cheat in any game and never be catched because of fail anti-cheating tools and too damn op third party software)

at least innova does it better. not awesome but better.

 

ppl are getting more hyped everyday, we just need that registration on! and lets bumb that **** out!

japanese ncsoft today declared to open l2 classic which will go online at april 1 (http://www.ncsoft.jp/lineage2classic/news/notice/view?bbsno=32801&articleno=789)
seems to me as big news, cause they have been waiting with it just as eu is waiting, so it kinda winds me up to eu classic.

 

700 mil market and people aren't sure if its worth launching 1 l2c server.

 

this god thing sux period. with the gods and "free" to play, the bots increase in 96% que rmt increase in 100%, before free to play 1kk adena at ncwest cost 1,20 dollar that means 100kk = 120 dollar and 1b= 1200 dollar, today ppl buy 1b adena for less than 50 dollar.

gods system sux hard, is a wow look a like, where u just do pvp if u want, not like we used to had on the true l2, where u have to pvp for a farm spot and a boss.

today bigger the wallet= better toon, instance **** for everything, casuals everywhere and not to mention ppl leveling alts to make zaken/freya/tezza cos its free......cos they cant make money since the bots put too much adena into market that nc dev start to put adena sink in everyone trying to dealing with it and in the event **** the legit player cos 90% of thr playes are greed and son of a ***** and bot in first place...........to everyone that like god better then the true l2, u should try wow and stop posting nonsense here.

if they launched that **** god update and keep the game pay to play maybe this **** would be better.

 

i wouldn't be sure too, seems not enuf :/ need at least 1bil!

in teon 1b since c4 cost ~300$, later prices droped to 100$ (atleast on gracia part1).

 

closed beta till end of c2 na player here. i must say...i supremely miss this game. just the thought of a classic server is making my mindset swirl with nostalgia. i normally never play on europe servers cause i am a anal on latency. but for christs sake, i hope this happens for na, till then...if innova launches this. i am so in it's not even funny. my th must come alive again...>_<

 

ncjp will open a classic server apparently.

i didn't know japan had a community for that, i'm honestly surprised, my time spent on gustin and franz were a bit too late to actually get a sense of how big the community was, the lack of factual data doesn't help.

i want classic just as badly as anyone. but i think people fail to realize that innova is not ncsoft they can't just magically start classic they have to go through all the legal obligations and communicate with ncsoft to get a license to distribute a classic server. not saying this is an excuse but dealing with contracts like these can take months to be completed...just saying look at it from all angles and at the end of the day it's not only up to innova.

 

from what they said there is not even a clear answer if we will have one, so about what legal obligations are you talking about? not to mention that innova ru got their servers running since november 2014, which makes your statement invalid.

 

is innova ru innova eu? legal obligations being they have to get ok from ncsoft to run it for innova eu. innova does not own the rights to lineage 2 what's invalid about that? innova can't do whatever they want ncsoft is the ones that have to create english version.

 

i've said it before and i'll say it again.

licensing to one country =/= to another region/countries.
