i was watching someone playing on gk on twitch & saw that they just learned skills without the need of spell books. do these books drop from mobs & they are also 1/6 drop rate?

 

it depend of the skill

 

as dazob already replied, it depends on a specific skill. the most rare and expensive spellbook is haste that can be obtained from the only monster in sea of spores with a ~0.01% chance.

 

there's no buff from that agation - just funny dance. and no l2store until now and no announcements about it.

you learn some skills right away, then some of them require spellbooks (like concentration) and any spellbook for skills up to lvl40 are sold in gludio. then for 2nd profession skills you need to drop some from mobs, some from raid bosses and some skills you learn on the spot without spellbook. please see this translation into english from korean wiki for detailed info: https://4gameforum.ru/showthread.php?t=790065 for those 2nd prof books.

well say whatever u want, but unless u play on last server from list (and there is in total like 14 + - ) they are far away from being dead. unless u call pvp for boss around 300 ppl in just 1 spot as dead server.

about classic as i said many times i rly hope they will open it and then realize how much ppl were wrong after like 1-2 months (some % after just few days xdd)

 

those who suffered 1 year to reach lvl 65 ( which you can reach in 3-4 months but whatever ) will be ahead of the 95% of the server which means they can **** on the rest in pvp ( unless they are bunch of handless ) and also they will have gear advantage so who cares about if they implement a patch where you can level up 2x , 5x or 10x faster than in previous chronicles. this game is so gear/lvl dependant that i would be amazed someone doesn't realized yet : (

 

yes they do have l2 store on korea and yes they do have an agathion with dance of fury/con song of wind, if you bought subscribtion in promo time period.

 

there will be a lot of people hyped from the start but just real l2 classic fan people will stay alive , this server will be 6 times harder than c1 from 2003/4
but let people reach their experience live during the play time , and especially people who will rush it will leave as 1st one as usual , all deepens on party setup and play time and willing to play and be still motivated after progress of 10% per day on 40+ lvl so patience is going to play a big role here,

 

depends on the class and skills.

a prophet would need a lot of skill books in order to learn new skills. a blade dancer, for example, does not need skill books for his dances but needs skill book for poison/health drain if i remember correctly.

 

anyone who didn't play prelude to c2 era, is probably in for a surprise how hardcore l2 was. those of us that did, are well aware how slow the game is going to be and we're fine with it. that's kind of the reason why its called classic.

well i didn't play at c2 prelude days , but for me l2 was about enjoying the game i think there will be a lot of people like me who didn't even play c2 or prelude and will enjoy game even if its slow

as someone said earlier, as long as it is slow for everyone (and we don't get any l2store) we should be fine. and you won't need to reach max level to have fun, mass pvps for raids like aq/core/orfen and all of that special moments we remember and talk years later, those moments that were created by the community.

 

of course not everyon wants to get in a week max lvl , max gear , max all .. win all , be top .. someone of us enjoy game slowly doing quests/pvp'ing with group of ppl that u like playing no matter win or loses , or u're low lvl or high lvl

in c1 you will visit almost all places and spent a lot of time in those places and enjoy atmosphere of "new mobs" in locations , if project goes live and server will have population as gk on russian side,
you can have for sure enemies everywhere and crying a river ones as well -10% exp , 1st conquer in cruma , 1st conquer in aq nest , 1st conquer dv all those parts of the game will be a big progress points for any party ,

 

but the most funny thing is stunning bards while training and making them drop gear , or even better fear your enemy and let him die by mobs -10% + dropssss :d i bet big percentage of players will emoleave classic due to things like that , it makes people reeeally mad but hey that is the fun of classic , you actually lose something when you fail/die not like most of servers nowadays where the only thing you might lose is e-penis.

 

l2 classic is made for old players who played it before , and for new one who want to try something else , yes l2 classic is hard core game whcih all likes , it is for sure not for impatiente people and yes peopel are letting people die by mobs rather for drop
