innova is just a publisher.
if ncsoft see that their game is failing in eu because of the publisher, they could force innova to change their policies.
but hey, you can stay with what you have, and live always thinking that complain don't chance anything... and live un tour bubble world where everything is always the same.

 

you can't complain about something, that as of yet doesn't exist. nor can something that doesn't exist fail.
no deadline is given, as of last post either, only that they are still working on the website. be patient. month this way or the other makes no difference in the long run.

it's not hard, it just takes a long time. and of course pvp used to be much more punishing because of the xp loss being equal to a very large time loss.

week to get 25? that's a bit exagerating, but of course it depends on your equipment and how much you play. only the first character is a real struggle, when you have to get to 20 with bread crumbs and quest weapons which are maybe as strong as the 65k one from npc shop

if you twink, you could get lvl 20 + classchange on the first day of the character without turning into a zombie. it still took some hours, maybe 6-8 if you did it without buffs, but it wasnt that bad.
for the d-grade levels it gets a little different. a party can greatly benefit you, because all 1x hp open areas used to be really horrendous for xp to begin with, and you would run out of mana or hp solo. no herbs back then, and no free buffs either.

 

i guess kain was a private server too then.



i'm not sure what you're complaining about exactly. you were always able to shoot up normal hills, if you didn't stand right in front of a steep slope and the other guy was far back. but then the other guy wouldn't have been able to hit you back either. terrain blocking vision still works in this way, nothing changed about it even into god.

 

6-8 hours to 20lvl? good joke.
i play 3 days 3-4hours daily and im just 14. im not sure if u know but u lose 10% or even more (not sure about the numbers) when u died (from mobs or pk what is really often here). 3 pk on 25 and ure 4 hours back.
and ok youre right its not hard, just takes much more time and this is why its hard :d :d :d if you know what i mean. however i still enjoy it :d going back to farm!

 

yes, 10% exactly. it will be less % loss in higher levels, but of course those % also take longer to gain again
at lvl 75 you still lose 4%. from lvl76 you only lose 1%, but you will hate losing that 1%. it's very important to have friends and get a good res from ee or bishops. (if you win a pvp, always corpse-camp the loser, force him to res to town :d)
if you can (i don't know what chronicle classic server is), get the clan skill luck, it reduces xp loss on death. if you are in a strong clan, declare war on others. you lose less xp when you die to a wartarget.

xp loss also still works the same way in god, but you get through the early levels so quickly you barely get a chance to even die, let alone notice how much % you lost. then, when you are awakened, you always have a party with a healer for 90%+ res.

 

this was one of the reason people stopped logging in when we had the same policy. its a -_- move and people dislike you for that. you get respect when you drop your enemy, let them rez (after the fight is over) without talking -_- to them. i know trolling your enemy when hes biting the dirt feels good, i did it alot but its better to not to that.

relax, this only really happens in clan wars. out of wars, you'd have to pk to camp them and those pks were not easy to get rid of back in the old chronicles.
and what's the purpose of a clan war if not to make the other clan surrender or disband?

we did that in the old days, before declaring a war on another clan was a thing. pking the **** out of enemies was normal. until people started to quit, etc. surrender? sure under terms. making another clan disband makes as much sense as pissing in your own coffee, after a while there wont be anyone left to war. oh the fun.

 

just remember the good old times on teon server <3 redsquad + pretorians ally exile vs tt twilight.
red war, clan war it was so good.
well will not happen on the eu cause eu players dont like the classic, the grind and xp + item loose on pk or pvp will force most of them to quitt after hit 20+.
0,01 xp on 30 + and even less after hit 40.
my char on gk is now lvl 25 + buffer and i get with overhit 0.06 <3

 

everyone is so worried about the exp, its not like its going to stay slow forever until the end of time. it was the same thing in prelude, anything over 60 felt like sci fi. when c1 launched 75 started to pop up like popcorn.

 

next update already brought things like: free teleport until 40 lvl and unique armor set by quest. so yes, it's gonna get easier, but not in the first year.

 

as always... the firsts players will be the real hardcore ones.
but, maybe we will have the classic with the lastest patch in corea (?)

you dont drop items on pvp/pk. only if you are killed by a mob. and its a low chance...

 

that's how we messed with farmer groups, since most were almost always automated. we'd train them until they would be running almost naked trying to kill mobs, fun times.

and yeah you don't drop gear while pvping unless you're red and get killed. and even then its not 100% with couple of pks, the higher the pk count the more chance to drop items.

 

nice way to have fun while you pick up some equipment ^^
