thanks for the forums i heard that god will launch at the beginning of december. does anyone know if this is about beta or the real thing ? will we have a closed beta, then open one, then launch ? will the chars in beta be wiped afterwards or transfer to the live servers ? thanks for the answers m

doesnt look like it, if they collect emails to invite ppl it is more likely there will be a closed beta of some sorts. for an ob a simple announcement that the server is live with a location of the client for download would have been enough. m
they'll probably open 1 server to go through obt. that would explain why they're collecting emails to statistically be able to fill it up.
nobody in their right mind has any doubt 1 server will be full to the brink at the launch. probably they will only invite because they fear the server will crash with so much ppl flooding it. at least this sounds like the reason for me. m
as gruummsh mentioned, this could be only for the statistics, to see if they will need to open more than one server at the start. or they just want all players to accept the rules, before letting them play: now it's just a guessing game
