what exactly is the point in parties? common sense would suggest that you party up to make questing/grinding easier but since kills are not shared by the party (you have to kill a mob yourself to get the quest count) and since you get a % of xp depending on damage you do even when your not in a party - what exactly is the point in them?
to grid easy and alot faster. bout quest they end at 43 lvl anyway so u wont care. also if u want good loots and fast xp ull have to party up u wont be able to solo some mobs whit out having full party
some quests are shared in party, mostly those involving killing xx mobs. xp depending on damage - what do you mean exactly? at higher levels grinding in party is essential, try to do it solo with support classes. furthermore, whole endgame content is party/clan oriented, a solo player won't even get a chance to see it.
every quest iv tried to party with so far where i needed to kill x number of mobs hasnt worked at all (as in if i kill a mob id be the only one have it count to my quota). i hope to hell parties become more essential later on
later on you wont have quests they will end at 43 lvl, from there on grinding starts and the best option to grid is whit a party.
with god chronicle lineage 2 changed and is now considered newbie friendly, earlier it was grind from the start till end, quests were obsolete. but now from level 1 till 43 you're just doing quests to speed up the leveling process and it's really not necessary to make them in party. after that there are really only handful of quests and the game goes back to grind, that is the only way to get experience is to kill tons of mobs and without party you just can't keep up with other players.
