Windowed frameless mode?

any kind of modification, etc is forbidden. any one else read the agreement now days?

 

just play the game as u should without moddifying anything

 

this is not the question.
they asked if an operating system's option can be detected as a client modification

 

this isn't a modification if you don't touch the game files itself. therfore it cannot violate any agreement. the whole "check for window frame" in frost (if it really does that) is simply ridiculous.

 

clueless people stay away from this thread please. your post count doesnt mean anything.

 

except, i'm not trying to modify anything, i'm just telling my operating system to not display window borders. you can do that with any window, and has nothing to do with the app running inside it.

how's that gonna remove you that pointless window border that only takes space on your desktop?

 

it's not gonna remove the border but still you gotta admit it's better than alt tabbing from fullscreen game..

 

arcain i think if u complain of that window border than u really need some occupation except playing at pc

seriously, it's a forum and he is just asking something. if you can't answer just dont tell anything

 

ok some players want to play fullscreen, some want windowed
and we want noframe windowed mode.

ps - ofcrouse i dont approve any kind of modification of game client (colour chat, zoom hack etc)

 

i'm actually at work and there's not much to do currently (crisis in eu, you know), don't have much time to play when i'm at home either. i'm also not complaining since i know a way to get it frameless, it works, and the problem is that for some reason it seems to be cosidered as client mod and possilby marked by frost as rule violation. since you have no better idea to do so nor interest in it, you shouldn't speak about it at all, to be fair.

 

dude. we answered him. the whole thread is full of answers. i gave him the closes thing he can get to what he wants. and he complains... go figure

 

1) you didn't answered anything (reply with alt+enter to someone who wants a frameless window is not an answer, since he already has it in window mode)
2) he succeed to have it borderless before you came to raise your post count
3) he don't complain, he's just asking if it is a rule violation to get the window borderless (since it's not a client modification)

seriously, read the full thread next time you want to react

 

actually this whole thread is spammed with posts about client modifications when people are asking about something completely different.

you people really should shut up before you make yourself look even worse. having a frameless window has nothing to do with the client itself.

we are being trolled hardcore here, while no clear explanation from the "hgm and techncial team" has been given.

 

i've been more than amused while reading this thread. how in the world is it possible for the "hgm and techncial team" to conclude that removing the frame of the window is a client abuse and is treated as a cheat? for their information there is such option in the appereance section of the microsoft windows control panel settings! this is clearly an operatin system (in this case windows) modification and customizaton and has nothing to do with the game client, thus everyone stating the opposite in my point of view is an incopetent person!
