Siegel Knight : how are tanks in PvP?

hello all,

i'm back playing l2 after a verrrry long time and i can remember a time when tanks were a huge pain in the a@@@ to play: unable to kill anyone, very gear dependant, ages to level up. having said that i have to say that i've always played tanks and i'd love to carry on.

so, how are they doing in pvp? can they compete with other classes on a 1vs1...can we actually kill anything? are they ok in group pvp?

and also....i kind of like the idea of a da? are they ok?

actualy i dont see now pvp with ol/wc mags who make drains/skills with 2500-3000 crits when tank with a grade rings/erings... on 65+ have 4500 hp and die offen on one cryt from mags.... unbalancet for now... dont know how will be on 76+

 

tanks have always been good to play. i remember c5 times where i was winning 1v3s on a pally. i tried making a tank on the beta and i got 3 shot by a nuker....

 

i read some nev skills from 85 and i see much... realy much auras or ud like we call who give +4000 + 10000 p dem m def... so one think or ppl who balance clases on end game wana say that tanks can just play pvp only with auras +5000 m def cose withaut auras thay die on 2 magic hits... or thay wana say what normal dd die so fast and hellers cant target tham for heal

 

mages hit me for 6k without ud ......immortal set jwls ....whaaaaaaat ?

9 sec aoe stun on 87 lvl.
no dmg? its tank not dd and still have lot of dmg.
no root but u can pull enemies to you.
and m def is not so bad in r grades...

 

new tank is rly hard to play...

when u pvp with a mage he can pull u back, he can teleport from u, and he make tones of dmg while making it...

but i will always love tank ^^

tank: 300pdef difference from enchanter, very low mdef

 

sigel knight is hard to play on 85 but he only gets better since. with r-99 gear you are able to reach around 7k pdef and 3k mdef with iss buffs, no ud.
he has one "real" ud at start, but it is mobile. he also has a party ud which can be used when solo and is just as good as a regular ud but lasts only 15s (good to protect your summon).
the golden lion is a piece of ****, not only is he 3 times weaker than phoenix (dunno about panther) but he also makes you lose pdef when you summon it. not worth it - i prefer to use my fenrir who has same or even better stats and costs me no pdef. it gets even more annoying as he has a useful skill - physical silence, but the pdef loss is really painful.
mages hit hard because they are just op in lineage (as always). only with good jewels and full attribute resistances you may try to fight with them and the possibility of winning is just whether you manage to reflect a magic crit with your spiked shield or not.
sigel knights are great for making chaos in crowds later. i mean - mobile ud lets you run around 30s in a crowd almost untouched. you can mass agro them, chain glaxy them (-90% heal is great), mass pull them to you, pull single targets, mass 9s stun, mass 1s stun + detarget, mass damage skills.
you can also effectively protect your party with the use of party ud, final ud on 99 lv (the one that pulls your party to u and gives them massive pdef mdef). you can try to protect your healer with single targeted spells for example, the single-target bestowed ud which u later get, pulling enemies from him, agroing. you can be a real pain in the ***. but killing people? leave that for the other members of your party.

no idea how sigel will do on olymipad. we will see when it starts.

 

imo main problem is that a mage with 2 lvl more can kill u in few sec

no cancel, the summon is worst than panther (debuff pdef lol), no root, the stun is short with a crappy landrate and delay so long...
where is my hk? i want it back :/

eeee... u cant kill mage on oly ? wtf guys u just put lion out who care about p def in fight with mage ?!
u silence him or whatever and u just kill him easy if there is no obstacles.
so dont cry ... u know ****.

 

yeah if 1 v1 but it's risky to keep lion out..and anyway mages hit so hard :\
