do u still have to do fate's whisper and mimir's elexir quest to make a sub class?
or there is no need to make any quest?

 

there's a new subclass quest, although i don't have any information how it looks like - you can get it from raina in talking island.

 

change in some of the monsters to hunt in "fate's whisper" because of repine in the tower of insolence. ( source )

the subclass class quest has been replaced with a new one that characters can acquire from the new subclass npc, raina, in talking island village. raina can also assist characters in creating or resetting their subclasses. previous npc functions for changing subclasses have been removed.
it still tells me that i must complete the fate's whisper and mimir's elixir quests before i can obtain a subclass

 

tw farming for badges here i come in that case.

no point in doing those quests if you can snatch both noblesse and subclass at the same time.

sure thing, you always could do that.

 

keep in mind for tw you need captured castle and castle guards were boosted a lot... so i think the old quest will be a lot faster, esp with changes with toi rbs....

 

since the thread was closed without all possible answers given i do a new:

you do not have to do the quest to get subclass, neither to get nobless. only if you want to have the nobless tiara.

the problem is that getting 100 badges takes a 2 territory wars in general which takes a month. first tw is also for clans that took a caste at first sieges as well. you should be able to get your main, sub quest and nobless before that just exping by then.

 

true, but the op asked for ways to get it done and there is another way then doing the quest.

tw will take longer since you need more than 1 and it is just every 2 weeks, but sub/noble quests are quite painful aswell. you need a group for the bosses and you need to farm endless hours for all these nice moonstoneshards and stuff, you can't just simply buy them on a fresh server. taking all the time getting bad exp into account i prefer to exp my main to 85 and do awakening

tw takes longer but is cheaper and you can exp your main to the fullest. only reason to get sub and then noble fast is for what? subskills? nobleports? i myself will do tws and aim for 4th class :d

 

the only problem with sub-quest is from the b weapon, now that all the b are bound and not entire. (even craft)

 

tbh i did it in c5 i think ^^;;

anyways, for ppl who don't want to rush it's still cheaper but i guess i take at least a look at the patchnotes :d

sieghardt please edit your thread. you say underlined that people do not have to do the quest, when they asked if u can add sub without quests.
so please edit it and say that you have to do the quest but there is alternative way from tw.

for information - fate's whisper and mimir's elixir quests are still required for making the subclass quest, the other alternative is to make 100 tw badges, tw's are held every 2 weeks on a saturday, next tw is due on 28/01/2012.
